Exactly. And it costs a focus token to fire them, so you won't have one to spend to modify anyway. Looks like a horrible missile unless I'm forgetting how Attack:Focus works.

You need a focus to use them. It doesnt say you have to use that focus. Its like homing missiles. (edit: NM, others have already answered)

Anyone noticed you can equip the aggressors with Lightweight Frame? That 3 agi, 4 hull and 1 shield for a base 19 points. If the dial is as great as they say it will be, it sounds like a really good ship...

Havoc title -> R5-P8 in rebel squadrons.

It means triple K-bombers are now double k-bombers and the Havoc dropping Proton Bombs with Genius bot.

Gah! I'm out of likes for this! So, you'll have to settle for a "Awesome gif, bro!" For now.

There are scary effective combos with the Havoc in a Rebel list.

Nice! i like the Tie Predator and the Sith Fury and Sith Infiltrator. Would fit nicely with the current Imp models.

Honestly, there's probably good reason that Rebels can only get the most expensive pilot, in order to reduce the efficiency of that kind of list.

Also I'd bet that the Scum ability for Nym suits the list way better than the Rebel ability, and everyone is sad that their busted list isn't that little bit more busted.

Havoc probably costs more than an equivalent K Wing and doesn't have SLAM, so why would you want it?

If Unguided Rocket spam becomes popular triple K-Wings looks a lot less effective. 5 Bombers for example will rarely leave enough room for SLAM appraoches and certainly have the firepower to make any K-Wing regret being in range for just one turn.

The base cost is two points more. You get 1 extra shield. 3 attack. A turret mount, like the K. Native barrel roll. Tallon Roll with choice of Genius or Chopper, or Electronic Baffle. Advanced Sensors. Fire Control System. ELITE PILOT TALENT. And Rebel Nym probably has some kind of Bomb trick.

Genius + Bombardier would put you out of the blast radius but you can't take them together.

Rebels only get Captain Nym though who'll be a base cost of somewhere around 30. They don't get the generic.

Scyrrg title. With Genius, high PS is an advantage because you can choose when / where to drop your bomb. Miranda is glued to TLT, which puts her real cost at 34.

Pretty sure they wouldn't, one range band is 2.5 bases wide, so having the bomb 2 bases away doesn't help.

Barrel roll to possibly just get out of the blast radius

And Mira/2 bombers isn't really a list archetype.

20 with Lightweight Frame.

5x 3-attack, 6 hull, 3 AGI ships.

I've started re-painting my 5 bombers yesterday, should be done just in time for the release date. Happy days!

Sadly not. I've run Kavil with Genius a number of times; the only way to get out of the radius is a boost via engine upgrade.

Unguided rocket is da best ! Agressors, bomber and punisher will appreciate a lot !

Still wouldn't work because the template guides count for the bombs range, so when it is 2 bases away and you barrel roll as far away as possible, you will still be in range. By exactly the length of those nubs.

Kavil can't run Bombardier though. Bombardier plus Genuis plus Barrel Roll would work I think.

Which is why you can't get the crew and the trashtromech on the same ship.

****, I wasn't sure because I've never run genius before

the nubs wouldn't be in range I don't think because of where they sit on the base. Can someone with Vassal mock it up to settle the argument?

BUt it's a moot point anyway since it's not possible to have both crew and trashtromech.

However you can AS Barrel Roll when you drop your bomb.

Oh you might be right, I thought you'd be exactly in a line with them...I'll fire up VASSAL.

Edit: And you do indeed get out of range!

Could this mean Captain Jonus could be the new Howlrunner of Aggressor Turret Swarm?

x3 PS2 Aggressor +TLT +LWF - 75 points

Captain Jonus + TIE Shuttle + Rebel Captive - 25 points

Total: 100 points

The Aggressors get to reroll 2 attack dice on ALL the TLT attacks. No need for Target locks for rerolls- and applies to both attacks (confirmed in FAQ 3.1.1). Rebel Captive to dissuade shots onto Jonus.

Seems pretty nasty getting to re-roll all those TLT dice.

Nice built!

Rebels only having a single, unique Scurrg Bomber is a good thing because you have to make a decision between having the Havoc title or Sabine unless you take a full on bomb fleet and to that I say:

When the bomb meta hits and the board is awash with cluster bombs and conner nets and our ears are ringing from constant seismic charge detonations, Sabine crew will get nerfed to only effect bombs dropped by the ship she is on.
