Barring the sliding scale, IPV's are a little on the large side to work as flotillas (120 meters). Probably work better as small-scale ships. However, as there's little flotilla-type ships available Imperial side i could live with them "fudging" it a lil.

Going with its predecessor the IR-3F you shave off ten meters (110) so you get closer to the longest flotillas that are currently used/talked about (GR75 and Dornean Gunsip respectively).

Wave VII
MC75 + Raddus (large base)
ISDI1 varient (large base)

Wave VIII
MC80B (Mon Remonda) + Han Solo commander (large base)
ISD II Varient (large base) if we can have 3 types of MC80 we can have 3 types of ISD) with Thrawn/Pellaeon

Wave IX
MC40 Class Cruiser
Secutor Class Star Destoryer (medium base)

Wave X
Star Defender (epic base)
SSD (epic base)

just a minor nitpick but the Secutor class was larger then the Imerial class

Assault Gunboats for the Imperials. Come on, FFG. You brought in Decimators but no Assault Gunboats?

I stand corrected, so it was.

ISD-I, Thrawn

Named Squadrons (Red, Blue, Onyx, Obsidian or whatever.)

As of now, my only request is.....

NO Bulwark Mark III, Please!!! http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Bulwark_Mark_III

(I'm playing SW Rebellion on PC and reminded myself how out-of-place and ugly they are, lol)

Bulwark, AKI the AF2s bigger cousin, also known as the Super Guppy :P

I wouldn't hate seeing U-Wing or TIE Striker squadrons that introduce some kind of new squadron keywords? Don't really see the need for four squadrons of each, and not sure what else you'd fill the pack with, but...

K-wing ;)

If X-wing got it, Armada must have it. :P

We might get that TIE Agressor just released possibly another escort for the Imperials

I guess you could have Avenger, assault gunboat, scimitar bomber & striker for imps as a squadron set 3.

To play with the Death Star expansion, you have to play at the Hayden Planetarium in New York.

The imperials could also get Brunson from Rebels as well as that cyborg leader that reprogrammed chopper, Governor pryce, and that LT Kallus tried to frame. For Rebels we can still get Kanen, Ezra, Zeb, and Sabine.

Why has nobody mentioned Seperatist ships, after the clone wars many former separatists gladly joined the rebel cause. even in the ultimate guide to warfare we see Providence class ships in rebel livery and it would be great to see them.

Im not the biggest fan of the new films and dont think that the Makers need to delve into them just yet when there is so much existing content left. Well for the rebels that is.

So i just wondered if there is in fact a reason we haven't seen any.

flotillas Taylander class for rebels ( and from rebels s2 and s3 ) for imps , the cargo class-4 of the same show , who could have the same role than rebel transport ...

I do think the Imperial Cargo Freighter would look good on the table:

It's better armed than the GR-75 too.

Broadside class cruiser and Marauder class corvette...

New core sets.

It took X-Wing 3 years / 7 waves to get a new core box, so we're about due. And X-Wing's core sets are way cheaper - being potentially outdated is easier for new players to swallow.

If it were me, I'd make one for each faction. For $100 MSRP, you can get a lot more value by going monofaction - the ships in the current box total $80, which could get you an MC30/GSD, CR90/Raider, a flotilla, and an extra $10 worth of fighters over the core set's X-Wings against TIE/lns. Bump the price a bit (and/or sell the core set essentials as a separate box) and you could cram the iconic capital ships in there, which would be a big selling point.

It's hard to justify spending $100 (probably at best $60, on sale) to someone, when ~$40 of it is going towards a faction they're not necessarily going to play (doubling the cost of the game if they decide to collect both). You can't play full games out of the current box, even with two, and regardless- CR90s + Nebs against VSDs, doesn't even really feel like Armada, you know? It's a poor imitation of how fun the full game is.

Ships:

I think we're due for more big ships, so the next wave will be the MC75 and the Super Star Destroyer. The core set and Waves 1 and 2 contained a mix of Canon and Legends ships. All of the ships released since wave 3 have been Canon. The MC75 and the Super Star Destroyer are the biggest Canon ships we don't have yet.

Squadrons:

I think we'll see them release Rebel and Imperial Squadrons 3. FFG has been pulling from both Canon and Legends for these, and I think that will be case for the third batch. I also think we'll see them bring over the remaining ships/squadrons that have been produced for X-Wing that we lack in Armada. So, I expect the Tie Aggressor, Tie Punisher, Tie Striker, and the Zeta Class Shuttle for the Imperials. The Rebels will get the ARC-170, K-Wing, Auzituck Gunship, and the U-Wing.

Campaigns:

I would not be surprised if a Rogue One inspired campaign also appeared for release this fall.

After watching the last Jedi trailer... Many...many... Many times, Im predicting:

Wave 7 late this summer

MC-75

Venator

Wave 8 December

Resurgent and/or another first order ship

Starhawk and/or another resistance/new republic ship (maybe the carrier we see the hanger of)
