Calling it now, MC75 with Admiral Raddus, and a Venator with Governor Price (or director Krennic)

MC-75 Admiral Raddus is a given.

Brahatok Dornean Gunship is a given, whether as a flotilla or single small base ship i'm not sure.

I'd figure flotilla for the Broha'tok, but you never know. I'll add my predictions after some thought. Something tells me i have a little time to wait

I predict that this thread will stay alive longer than any other thread until a wave 7 article is released.

I predict that its time for an expansion box like CC that gives you alternative ship cards and titles! Like an ISD3 or something

MC75 (medium) and the New Order star destroyer (large)

This fills the medium hole in the rebel lineup and the large hole in the Imperial lineup.

I'd prefer a new type of flotilla each though, to be honest.

So squadrons come every odd number wave. Well maybe not.

Unlike X-wing, Armada hasn't had to tap into the clone wars. Heck they haven't even tapped into the Sequel Trilogy.

But don't worry. Armada Waves tend to come once every year so no squadrons for 2017

I just don't think we NEED any more squadrons as we have plenty to work with at the moment. If they want to do some more CC squadrons, sure go ahead. More Geniques would be cool. But I don't know what they would add nor if we have any need for them as squadron play is pretty strong right now. Unless it is XG-1 Assault Gunboats to piss off the X-Wing guys. I mean we got the H-6 before them.

Wave 7: epic format introduced

Nadiri starhawk for the rebs, and SSD for the imps

Must play on a 6 × 6, so ffg can sell more mats

Im going to say its the MC-75 and the Tector class. Medium and Large respectively.

And a second campaign. Building up to the Battle of Endor.

I'd love a card-only wave- more titles, more unique squadrons like in CC, maybe some new upgrade cards. Something to give people an in without requiring them to get one or two of everything. But I expect another Large Ship wave, maybe with some flots. A Rogue 1 wave, maybe, with the MC75 (which seems pretty certain) and a new Star Destroyer of some kind?

An upgrade card/title box is something I've been asking for for a while now. Heck even a ship card pack or box would be cool. But I agree, next actual wave will likely be MC75 and a triangle.

Hey, I'm all for more squadrons if they include the XG-1 Assault Gunboat. As for X-wing guys, I think some of them should sell their X-wing collection and get into Armada. I would but I like X-wing too much. Some how I am going to have to get into both.

The Assault gunboat of armada is my prediction for that vessel.

It will probably be released just before Christmas (YAY) and hopefully whatever the models will be it will include a second Campaign pack alongside, as I think Corellian Conflict was well relieved and so many great options in it with extra ships and more importantly new objectives which hopefully a new box would include new ones to help keep the game fresh

MC-75 is a given I think.

I really hope they do NOT do a ISD1 model. That is a waste of a wave & defeats the point of the unit cards already in existence.

I cant work out what FFG's policy is on the old EU stuff. It seems they use it sometimes (Marek Stele in the last wave) but then I get a sense we will be seeing only new canon stuff from now on for the most part. There are some cool ships from the old EU that I'd love to see. The Liberator & Dauntless class from the old rebellion game for the rebels. TIE Avenger & Assault gunboat for the imps are noticeably missing also. Imperial commando carrier from the rouge squadron computer games is also a cool looking ship & if we have boarding upgrades now it fits thematically.

In fact, thinking about it, that may be the thing for the next imperial wave-stormtrooper gunboats etc to buff boarding.

The usual Bulwark, SSD or Eclipse if we are going down the dreadnought route.

Didn't we get 3 in 2016? Wave 3 around March, 4 in August, and 5 in December?

I think OP nailed it. I think most Future waves will be 1 ship per side. Dornean Gunships will be coming but not next. maybe wave 8.

Anything that gets more X-wings and TIE fighters on the table is good in my opinion. I think Admiral Sloan will push us in that direction.

We see a lot of uniques on the table in wave 5, and plenty of builds use all uniques. It will be cool to see Admiral Sloane push the meta toward generics again. For her fleets for the obvious reason, and for fleets that expect to face her because she wastes defense tokens.

Technically the Arquitens is a Clone Wars ship that was refitted for Imperial service, and the Venator was also a Republic ship that was refitted for Imperial service so it would be great to see that. Though considering the new Quasar Fire class is going to be a squadron based ship we might need a wave or two to not just give the empire another squadron based ship, with the main difference between the two being that one is bigger than the other. Granted the Venator would be more durable and would probably end up costing between a VSD and a ISD and having better overall firepower than the Quasar too.

That's never been true. Core Set and two waves came in 2015. CC a double wave, and another wave came in 2016. Armada may not have the market demand of X-Wing, but its popularity is growing and it's never dropped to one release per year.
