Are they any good? With the new Party Bus: Zuckuss, Inspiring Recruit, and Dengar, do you think they would do well?
Maneuvering Fins?
Engine upgrade is way better to have but if you find yourself short on points it can certainly be useful. If you can take burnout slam with maneuvering fins it's even better for movement options.
What ship
You can only take maneuvering fins on the YV-666.
Not they are not. They are plain bad.

I agree with this statement. Please do test them though. If you find otherwise I'd love to hear you out.
I've played the YV a reasonable amount and never really given them a second look.
Basically, you very rarely do a hard 2 at the best of times because its red. You normally do a 3 hard when you're trying to come around after the initial joust and I don't think I've ever thought "I wish I had done a 3 bank instead...".
In response to the OPs question, I'm not sure why replacing 4-Lom with a inspiring recruit makes them any better than they were before?
Also if you're flying the party bus (rather than the party Bossk) they probably have even less value as at PS2 you will often be moving before most of the other ships on the board. If you wanted to do a 3 bank, why not dial that in rather than a 3 hard?
Edited by asters89Absolutely agree with the others here, I have never been it a situation where I've thought to myself "Gee, I wish I'd put Maneuvering Fins on this build". IMO if they had allowed you to jump a move up or down by 1 speed then I could see a use for them, but as they are I think you're better off with almost any other modification.

Because of the increase in stress reduction and the more likeliness of doing red moves?

Maybe, but with the new Zuckuss FAQ doing that red stops you then using Zuckuss so its rare that you are going to want to do the hard 2 anyway.

^ this. you're even less likely to do red moves now. (well...it went from never to still never)
