I'm loving those External Racks with Raiders. Come to me, my pretties! They can also be used against a squadron (no distinction on ships versus squadrons) so you can throw 4 rerollable black dice at a particularly naughty squadron once per game.

Hell, I'd slap them on a VSD-I even. 3 points ain't much and it's worth it in many cases.

You're seeing it right. I'd like to think they's have 3 in the front since they have 1 the rest of the way around

Gah! I just had this revelation! I was trying to find out where I would put these that wouldn't want something else. Raider's without flechettes or Assault Peltas are what I came up with

Seems like Demo and MC30s are taking a hit with this wave with all the close range stuff.

Cause a Kallus Raider with OE and a con fire can throw 6 REROLLABLE black dice at unique squad.

Yep, Raiders, Assault Peltas, and VSD-Is are my recommendations. Serious torpedo gunboats like Gladiators and MC30s have better things to do but cheapo corvettes and "attack of opportunity black dice" ships like VSDs and Peltas will enjoy the cheap one-shot super punch.

And some of them definitely deserve it

The Quasar also has a small/medium base restriction upgrade it looks like. Disposable something. Looks like you can discard it to add 2 something, likely to your attack pool.

Also it seems we might be getting the grand inquisitor this wave too

Not sure I'd say "OP" so much as.... FINALLY the Empire has a commander that actually does something for squadron-heavy lists!

For a faction that can put so many TIEs on the table at once, it felt almost criminal that none of the commanders had an interaction with the squadrons at all.

Sloan with phantoms is interesting. If the non-rogue sloan is the final one.

So here's an interesting note - those double upgrades requiring weapons team and offensive retrofit slots can only go on the Assault Frigate and presumably Hammerhead for Rebels, but can go on the ISD, Victory, Raider and presumably Quasar Fire for Imperials. Lots more options for Imperials.

For the Boarding Parties? I'd think it would be Discard (a dial or token) and the card. Being able to use the card multiple times would be ridiculous, so I'd imagine it to be one time use, which means it must be discarded. As such, the above is the only wording combo I think fits.
