Tabletop Simulator Tournament - March 18th

By Ceryliae, in Star Wars: Armada

Hi all!

I'm going to be running a tournament on Tabletop Simulator on March 18th at 8 AM PST. There will be three rounds, each will be an 1 hour 45 minutes. If you're interested in participating please submit the form here.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Word of advice: don't restrict yourself orplayers to specific days/times with these. Instead, give everyone a chance to coordinate over at least a few days.

Also, not even two full hours? That's a mistake. That's not even the full time for a regular tournament game.

We've done two different leagues giving a whole week to play your game, but we wanted to try something different this time. We all make time to go to a tournament and play, so this isn't any different. If it doesn't work we'll just go back to doing the league play but there's no harm in trying new things. Also, from our experience, playing on TTS is much faster than playing in real life because of its digital nature.

I'm always open to feedback though, and if this doesn't work out I'll go back to the drawing board.

Hey Ceryliae,

I've been playing around quite a bit with TTS. While I've not yet played Armada with it, I've been making a lot of utilities that you mind find either useful or just fun.

Yeah, but keep something in mind:

Saturday is when people go to real game stores. For example, I'm going to a real event this Saturday.

Is there any guides on SWA for tabletop ? I have tried to work out how to play it on this and failed miserably.

Agree with the timeline feedback. Whenever someone proposes a digital tourny, them expects me to sit for 6-8 hours as if it was a real tourny, I just can't do that. Why? Because standing in the store is not the same as being at home with the wife and dog playing a computer game.
