Also, regarding Matt and I's game I have this to add-
Have you ever had a game were you know you were hopelessly screwed right before you even set your first dial? I got so busy rushing trying to start the game and go go go that I totally and completely forgot Spynets. I deployed to do nothing but keep my fleet totally safe and escape with minimal losses. Then he spynetted his ISD right in front of me at max speed and I was trapped. Matt played this one perfectly, gave me no easy choices, and took advantage of my forgetfulness in an incredibly skilled way that I have to give him big props for. From that point it was like shooting fish in a barrel. Turn 3 I crunched numbers in my head and didn't think I would be too bad off however. I figured giving average or even slightly above average rolls his ISD wouldn't kill Yavaris and my flotilla until the beginning of round 4, where I could still hyperspace them out. But it wasn't to be. ISD rolled 3 doubles, not a single blank, and no accuracies on Yavaris overloading the redundant brace with sheer damage and killing him, then rolled 2 accuracies and average damage on the flotilla. Had the rolls been reversed, both would have survived, but that's the nature of the game.
All in all, from start to finish, it was by far the worst game of Armada I have played in the last year. I have nothing positive to say about my showing, only positive things to say regarding Matt as a good dude and a great opponent!
