GK proposes in his houserules a way to discourage turtling.
i have expressed many times that in my opinion the raid mission is fine and the problem is "show of force", as i believe even special assaults should be 50/50 and shouldnt be easier for the attacker . they were deisgned as desperation comeback mechanics, so they should be a high risk high reward play, not a "safe play, good for opening gambit". but since the consensus is different and we already have a proposed solution, i could totaly go with that "buffing hyperlane" solution.
