Can trick shot be used to roll 3 dice for snap shot?

Since trick shot only says when attacking, it should trigger off secondary weapons like snap shot; and because you are adding an extra dice before rolling, it's not dice modification. Would this be correct?

Yes it does as rolling additional dice is not modification.

Be rather difficult to get that range1 obstructed shot though after they moved.

Also only works on some A-wings, since other ships won't have the upgrade slots for both.

I had A-wings in mind. A list I was putting together had trick shot as the second EPT, because I ran out of points, and it occurred to me that the two cards might work together. It doesn't seem like it will come up often though.

Basically the only way it's likely to come up is if you park on a debris cloud.

You can only modify dice you have rolled, and you have to add a die before you can roll it. Basically, you're almost always going to go: add dice -> roll dice -> modify dice.
