That was my plan, I just couldn't get him in range 1! He kept boosting all over the place. I suppose I just need practice. I had trouble coordinating my A's so that I could block with one and procket with the other.

properly running a pair of Awings is a bit of an art. Theyre pretty abysmal on their own due to low PS and low damage but they can be a real thorn if flown right together.

My favorite is snapshots on them with VTs/PTL. My friend that regularly runs RAC calls them "annoying little gnats i can never swat" as they keep snapping and shoothing his 0agi ship to death and cant get away since i know how to fly these little "gnats" lol. Its amazing how fast decis shred when they take 3-4 attacks a turn, even if theyre only 2-3die attacks.

In the two matches today I killed Vader both times in one round of fire. But then it was a stressed out Ketsu + a half health Contracted Scout in one game and two A-wings in the second versus a mostly full Decimator. I couldn't push damage through fast enough.

To be fair, neither of these lists (and many of the ones used in my previous encounters with Decimators) are lists I expected to be super competitive. I thought they would hold their own though.

Anyone try him on Sabine's TIE or the Quadjumper yet? They may be worth it just because of how cheap they are.

I played against him in the Quadjumper and it was among the most fun games I've had in some time. Had to be extra careful with my maneuvers and each time it triggered brought gleeful laughter from both sides. It was a ridiculous game, in the best way possible.
