I bought a couple of these...
...and they work perfectly for the Act, Agenda and Token/Difficulty cards. I just pile clues/doom counters in front of the appropriate easel. In all fairness, I stole the idea from someone on FB, but am unable to find the original post to attribute properly.

As an FYI, the easels are also available at AC Moore in the US for $1.99 each. That's where I bought them, but their website is garbage and doesn't actually show the products they sell.
If anyone is in the UK and reading this The Works sell them for a quid or you can get them from their web site for 12 units fot £9.99 and sell them at the game store 
I went looking for something like this at Hobby Lobby and found these. 50% off so they were $1 each. Not bad I think. Thanks for letting us know about them. Should free up a little bit more mat too.

I adopted this idea and ordered some via Amazon in Germany. Really nice idea. I love it.
