Honestly. I know you probably mean well, but you need to stop. X-wing does not need saving. It's not in danger. The game is growing, progressive, and exciting in most of the world. If in the small microcosm of your experience you've had a negative time it's okay to talk about it, but starting from the viewpoint that the game is doomed, or in serious jeopardy is a false impression to give others.

You can advocate changes, but your thoughts have less credence when you start with the assumption that the game needs saving.

As for saving the X-wing, the T-70 already killed it.

I'm not saying the game is doomed. I'm saying I want a refund on my poorly designed expensions (Punisher, X-wing etc) or a fix that makes my investment usable.

I have no opinions to give on whether the game is in need of saving or not. All I know is, my desire to play has drastically lessened over the last few months.

We live in a culture where everything has to be sensationalised though. Hyperbole is the new norm.

You won't believe what I'm going to say next! Number 6 is mind blowing!

I'm not in the 'save xwing' but I do witness some (natural?) Loss of interest for xwing in my area. Main reasons I hear are combo-creep (not complexety, synergy!) and lack of exiting expansions (the new movie helped somewhat, however)

And for all those with constant: "fix this" and "save-that" threads:

Less time in front of the computer and more time on the table!

I reject the premis of the op. If you write a fix x topic you might as well go fullr and announce the death of x-wingand your method of resurrection for it.

If something in your opinion is an NPE, don't go making absolute statements about that card/ship/list because everybody enjoys different aspects of the game.

For example, I hate Kanan Biggs but Kylo is less annoying. That's my view, but not an empirical statement.

Please save non Pro X Wing. My experience with X wing is threefold.

- Weekly Epic with my friends. Scenario based. One guy writes it and many House Rules plus non "legal" squads building

- 2 or 3 Casual LGS games each week with players that abandoned the ship of Tournament Play or never came aboard. Non Meta Squads and some House Ruling (face down ordnance...) and some boost (like T 65) or limits.

- LGS "by the book" games...perhaps once a month. Pro players live in their purist world with no intention to play against a father with his kid, and 3 X7s on the table. It is a shame but the comunity is split in 2 in my LGS.

So I am walking in a divergent way. I want new models but more interested in AAA networks or Walkers than in IWSYTDS.

I can understand that you disagree with the sentiment, but why do you want the threads to stop? Do you find it difficult to avoid reading these threads?

I think he's clear that he isn't opposed to the content of the threads, but just titles that assume and assert that X-Wing is in need of saving because something something imminent doom.

I like fix threads! I have ideas for making Punishers good again! But X-Wing is fine either way. The game is healthy, maybe healthier than it's ever been. Honestly all the "save the X-Wing" threads would probably be okay if the doom-mongery was dialed down a couple of notches, particularly when composing the title, which everyone sees. It's not good to have your forum full of post titles suggesting the end times are at hand (at least, when the end times are not actually at hand).

We need a campaign box like Armada and Netrunner have !

FFG did a good job with the C-Roc ! Now each factions can really play Epic scenario !

I truly hope the "77 plus" become a thing ! 100pts / epic / 77 plus / escalation we need more variante !
