Hi all, I've decided to finally to give one of my Interdictors the love it deserves and get it painted up and field it at the Expo in 12 weeks, so I present to you my list that I will now spend the next few months playing to death: On a side note feedback is always welcome and I've already made a little tweak (TY Gink) and will continue to do so for the next 6 weeks... and if anyone wants a game on Vassal give me a poke.

Really looking forward to attending, plus going to be camping during the even so its a chance to get away from the kids for a nice weekend with the lads.. Just working on painting up my ships and command decks

Been trying the list out for the first time tonight vs @BrobaFett and already its become clear that I've taken the wrong Admiral, so going to be swapping out Konstantine out for Moff Jerjerrod. In the game so far having Jerjeror would have allowed my Vic the turn it really needed, as it was to busy using Squadron commands.

P.S I think @Ginkapo had told me that Jer would be a better pick.. I might have to start listening more...

On a side note the list in itself seems to work for what I want.. just a little more practice and tweaking.... also not sure now about flight controller

I was thinking flight controller was an odd choice too, as you appear to want to focus on ship damage. Typically Maarek gets more mileage from the squadron fight than against ships, though in our game he certainly has been destroying with his bombing runs. A double tapping Maarek will almost almost remove a squad from the game. Even an ace has to fear Maarek/Jendon.

For me the question was Jumpmaster or No Jumpmaster. If I want to focus on ships, I don't need FC and need the Jump. If I want to focus on squadrons, then I don't need the jump master, and FC becomes a solid option. Recently I have been running Gamma Squadron, Maarek/Jendon, and 3 Defenders. Gamma loses heavy and gains grit to break engagement, and I have Chiraneu on my admiral flotilla to break 2 squads free in an emergency. He is 2 pts less than a jumpmaster, and doesn't have a range bubble (well, de facto sharing Jendon's activation range, but that I can control, as opposed to the placement of enemy squadrons.) But the goal isn't to use this to bomb, it's to make sure I am tying up every one of their fighters while I blow them out of the air. If even one of my ships lives, then I can bomb effectively. If not, then I have probably weakened him enough his bombers aren't going to make a huge impact.

I think I might indeed drop the jump and flight controller to bring in Chira and try him out as currently the second I lose the jump like I nearly did last night my Squadrons lose their effectiveness. And FC is not really adding anything in the way the list plays.

I really like Valen sooo much so so not sure about switching him out currently but will give it some game time and see what happens

Well just track the number of times you really want bombers to finish of ships turns 4 and 5.

I have to say bro I would go with tempest and gamma.........

We just found out which brother is wiser.

So this list is getting a lot of use currently and is undergoing continuing review. One of the biggest problems it has is lack of any real punch and relaying on 2 very slow moving ships is difficult at best. The easiest answer is to drop the "Inter" but as I have stated already the whole purpose is to field a "Inter" at the Euros so after a little more testing the list has developed to what you see below; In a recent game the demo was of far more use than a "Vic" as a threat.

Can't blame me......We were actually reviewing the damage outputs and easy of play of various lists and came to the conclusion yavaris rebel bombers is just nasty and very easy to play over two Long days.... We both normally play varieties of supper agressive manoeuvre imp lists that suck your brains out in long tourneys. We both came to the conclusion yavaris reeks aces were a low fatigue option for getting into the top 32.

The thought Chris would actually do anything I say is ummmm well.... More chance of the Green Party winning the election.......

Beyond that the Game plan was go second play defensive collect mid range wins.... Get in top 32, win box thing.... Chris went a bit wild in two of his games by all accounts and picked first player in one and went into full imperial high speed attack mod in the second... Giving two nasty losses.

Anyway we will both be throwing triangles and gladiators at each other next time we play as per normal.

ill stick to playing on Vassal.... where I play and evolve my list and not chop and change every 30 seconds..... getting to old and warn out to spend 9 hours in a day bending over a table.... IA/Destiny for big events and Armada for side events and 3 round tournaments from now on
