is the Hounds Tooth a good ship or no

Do a search for Party Bus lists and you will see that it can be. It does need a lot of cards from other ships to work correctly , though.

The thing hits like a truck and can take three crew. Even after a (needed) Zuckuss nerf, Scum still seems to have some of the best crew options in the game. You need to pair the party bus with a reliable late game ship. The Hound's Tooth needs to be an alpha and beta strike basically. Wrecks tons of crap before it inevitably goes down. It has no way to turn around so once all of the enemy is behind it, it is dead.

With that in mind, it can not be the last man standing, or it will lose. As long as you plan on its demise, you will have a good time with it. It has three really good pilots and one decent one, allowing you a lot of options. There are a lot of variations with the party bus so you can get pretty creative.

It's a blast to fly! I highly recommend it. My top favorite ships to fly are 1) YV-666, 2) M3-A Interceptor, and 3) G1-A. Yes, the YV-666 ( Hound's Tooth ) is my #1 favorite ship to fly. I don't think I can recommend it enough. And on top of the ship itself, there are some great cards in there, too! Crack Shot, Glitterstim, Lone Wolf, Stay on Target, Engine Upgrade ... A great buy, for sure!
