I've been thinking about squadrons

I'm trying to get a better understanding or how best to engage enemy squadrons, and I wrote up this article as part of working it all out:

Squadrons are designed to die. The only defense they have is while shooting at squadrons you can't be shooting at ships, and crits count as blanks. No damage mitigation means if the game didn't end in 6 turns they will all be dead given 1 damage per turn.

IMHO All squadrons should have had a single defense token. Reduce the hit points and give the evade action a benefit against squadrons such as reroll 1 die (squadron only). Tie Fighters could have evade, X-wings and B-wings could have brace. Cloak should have been a defensive token not a trait.

Well it is too late to change all that. Squadrons are now "as is" no refunds. :rolleyes:
