So a rune Golem has 4 armor and 2 wounds so it takes4 damage in one attack to do 1 wound. To kill the golem does it take 5 Damage in one attack or or 8? ?Do you have to meet the armor value every time to do 1 wound? How many hits to kill 2 golems outright in a unit of golems 7 or 16?
Damage and armor question
Anyone Know?
you have to do the armor in damage for every wound so you would need 8 damage to kill a rune golem
To add to that, damage only carries over in the form of wounds. So if you do 3 hits on a Rune Golem, nothing will happen. If you do 6 hits, then it will take 1 wound. Then in a separate attack, you would need to do at least 4 more hits to finish it off.
2 Rune Golems will take 16 hits to kill if you want to down them both in one go. You have to overcome the defense value each time you inflict a wound. So the 7 thing would never happen (I assume you were thinking it only had to be over come once so 3 more hits equals 3 more damage, but that is not the case).
Awesome!
thank you so much
I was open to both interpretations, the rule book wasn't very clear. I was hoping and leaning towards yours.

You have a rulebook??
No, but I froze every page when it was being flipped through in a video and magnified it to read. The Damage part could be taken either way.

Dude. That's hardcore.
