Here is a charity we might can get behind?
This is the 4th annual Campaign Against Cancer on April 29, 2017. It has expanded to 17 cities this year. It is a $15 donation to play and they have great prize support, and raffles. They will have a challenge coin for this years event available to purchase and and they gladly accept any donations and/or prize/raffle donations. This tournament is a little different in that they use a Pod system to determine the Pods for the second round of matches. I have no connection for this tournament but I have played the past two years and this is for an excellent cause. I have updated the post from last year below.
Good evening! I wanted to tell you about the Campaign Against Cancer X-Wing miniatures charity event. This is a nationwide tournament held on April 29, 2017 and located in 17 cities across the country. Hosting sites will be in South Bend, IN; Coralville, IA; Toms River, NJ; Minneapolis, MN; Kansas City, MO; Las Vegas, NV; Vancouver, WA; Pittsburgh, PA; Spokane, WA; Oklahoma City, OK; Salt Lake City, UT; Orange County, CA; Denver, CO; Centreville, VA; Boise, ID; Wasilla, AK and Pensacola, FL. We get together in groups reminiscent of regionals to play a great game with great people to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
