Pulse Ray Shield + Electronic Baffle
Yep. Your opponent can't stop you from recovering a shield and then losing that shield to remove the ion token you get.
Pointless combo.
Take an ion token to regain a damage then take a damage to discard the ion token.
Unless you have something else that triggers on one on one of those things it us just a pointless exercise in token swapping.
If only you could do it on QuickDraw

That's probably why the Shield 1 restriction. The not-Empire restriction is probably because a regen Omega Leader would be BRUTAL endgame. Just jet away as far as possible, take the Ion when there's no possible shot available on OL, and head back in...
I actually thought of this combo right when I saw the card. A few weeks ago I suggested Electronic Baffle on a StarViper to do Segnor's Loops and still get your action. The consensus was that you don't have enough health for it. I think I'd try it out with Pulsed Ray Shield, though. But I think the only ship that can do this is the Star Viper. No other Rebel/Scum 1-shield ship has a systems upgrade slot, right?
I think the broken combo is the opponent bringing ray shields and you have Dace
Instead of electronic baffle you could take feedback array. 5x Spice Runner with Feedback Array and Pulsed Ray Shield could be a potential threat to any ship. Set up a blocking line and you cause 5 actionless unblockable damage a turn.
Edited by X-AegisPulsed Ray Shield and Leebo crew allow you to double ion yourself, but only on the rebel HWK. After the 1 forward, you lose both tokens, so it's a free boost.
You could put both on a TLT HWK and have the feedback/pulse combo to zap enemies who get in the doughnut hole. I'm doubtful the combo would be worth the cost, but someone might find a good list for it.
The only thing that could do it is the StarViper and... why?!
