I was reading over Chaser's Card, which reads "When a friendly ship at range 1 uses a focus token, gain a focus token". This got me thinking about my favorite TIE pilot, Night Beast, and his free focus after a green maneuver. I have an idea for a build now. A pilot with Swarm Tactics in the middle, Chaser on one flank, and NB on the other. Make a green formation move for NB, who gets a free focus and is then free to evade, and have Chaser evade during the action phase. Then, during the attack, your middle ship uses swarm tactics for extra dice, and, during NB's attack (He has PS 5, Chaser has 4) if you can, use your focus, and then pass it to Chaser. A few flaws with this plan include NB then being without modification, but depending on the enemy should be shooting first, so you could use the focus then and pass it to Chaser. Or, Chaser may be targeted before NB, to which I don't have a counter. I think it's an idea worth looking at. Thoughts, folks?
Swarm Leader Chaser/Night Beast
Chaser + Night Beast is one of my favorite TIE fighter combos. It's not a super powerful combo, but it can definitely be helpful when the dice cooperate. I hadn't really considered it with Swarm Leader, but that's a great idea. Now, I usually hate "Mauler Mithel" because he draws so much hate, but if you could put Swarm Leader on him and get him to range 1, that's 6 dice, which is pretty impressive for a TIE fighter! He'd definitely need Howlrunner to give him a reroll. Pure Sabacc is probably a better candidate for a 6-dice Swarm Leader attack, but is also considerably more expensive.

I feel like Pure Sabacc would be targeted way more quickly. Then again, in a line of three TIE Fighters chasing you, no one pilot is really safe, is he? Might have a spot in Epic, with so many other ships and fighters, I feel like our Night Beast/Chaser + Swarm Leader combo could go under the radar. Also, the local tournament has Swarm Leader as it's promotional card
