Gathering Storm release date: 20/03/10

By Morffe, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Hi

I`ve checked maelstrom games.uk which says that the release date for the Gathering storm AND the Gamemaster toolkit is 20/03/10. And can now be pre-ordered.

Which is by far not good enough (still two months away), but at least it gives me the GM some date to work with.

have anybody else found similar dates checking their favourite place to order from?

The couple of places I checked had Gathering Storm as a March release and GM's Toolkit as an April release.

Did you guys see a price on the adventure?

Opp I found it. Sorry.

39.95.

Gathering storms, is it compatible with the adventure that comes with the rules, like a continuation of sorts ? There is one in the rules I am assuming.

I hope there is at least a little bit of built-in connection. Eye for an Eye, the adventure in the rules, is a great adventure with some fun characters and an ending that could really go anywhere. Stromdorf is the new location and I think it is pretty close to Ubersreik if I remember the description correctly so linking the adventures should not be too difficult, at the very least the theme seems to match up nicely.

The map of Reikland included in the rulebook places Stromdorf between Ubersreik and Auerswald, just south of the fork in the River Teufel.

I am looking forward to the Campaign set, but the GM tool kit does not seem all that exciting to me.

Yes, there is one in the rules (a very good one imho) and it can be linked to the 'day late ...' one on this site, so I am assuming the campaign can be linked in. As others have noted it is close geographically anyway so should be easy to get the PCs there even if there is no formal link.

Not even the nemesis organisations? :)
