Hi everyone, its been about a year or so that me and friend started playing Xwing and its amazing. He and I are having a blast! I can spend hours just looking at cards to try to figured out new tactics and squad to play with and I came up with something that I need clarification.

I came upon Advanced Sensors which allows the player to take action before he reveal his maneuver but if he do so cannot take action during the perform action step.

So my question is, can I do for exemple a target lock on my opponent before I move but when a reveal my maneuver its a red 4 k-turn which then I receive a stress for that maneuver that wouldn't allow me to take action normally?

If you have Advanced Sensors you can take an action before revealing your Koiogran turn, thus getting an action in a round when you otherwise wouldn't. That's one of the major use cases of Advanced Sensors, because the drawback for Advanced Sensors (skipping your Perform Action step) is irrelevant when you've performed a red maneuver and wouldn't get to take an action then anyway.

Note that next round you'll start the round stressed, and you won't be able to perform an action until you clear the stress (probably via green maneuver), so you definitely won't be using Advanced Sensors the round after your Koiogran.

My favorite application for Advanced Sensors is pairing it with Push the Limit and/or Expreimental Interface. This allows a ship to perform multiple actions, and then clear stress with a green maneuver.
