Support Cards

By S Lee T, in CoC Rules Discussion

Newbie:

1. Are Support cards always attached to a character? If so are they permanently attached until that character is eliminated or the support eliminated?

2. Some support cards are Locations. Are Location cards committed to a story or can they take action from the ready position?

3. Can a player use more than one location card at a Story?

4. Card F93 Victoria's Loft: Can this card be played onto an opponent? If so, how does a player get rid of it?

Location. "During the refresh phase, insane characters cannot be restored".

Only Attachments are attached. You can have Location Support cards on your side of the board.

They don't commit. They remain usable per their text/effect while in play.

Location. "During the refresh phase, insane characters cannot be restored".

You play it on your side (not attached), but it creates a universal effect, which affects you and your opponent(s).

Nope! You can attach cards to types specified in the text card, normally reads: attach to a character . There is attachements available to characters, to other support cards, to domains (as attachment not as resource) and to history cards.

And yes! That card is attached until the card with the attachment leaves play by any reason or the detachment itself is removed by any effect.
