Haven't seen any of those with exception of Oicun (and that was because I used it).

Vader crew or pilot? Crew version kills your own ships. Vader pilot is good but not that great (needed a fix remember?)

Rebel Captive? How about 4-lom, Here let me give you my stress instead. Lets not forget about stress hog as well.

I mean we had a meta that was made up of Palp+things (nerfed), Triple toilet Seats with ordnance (nerfed), Manaroo Mindlink (nerfed) lately.

Rebels played only a marginal role in the meta and have most regen, but until now could not bring more than 2 ships in a list with it. (Pulsed shields changes this but is not very good)

Gonk was the only viable option in Scum and was a rare choice as it was outclassed by other options.

I don't get why people hate regen so much. Imps had Palpy to set them apart and still have tons of very elusive and hard hitting aces, unlike any other faction.

Scum has a bag of nasty tricks, Mindlink and had Manaroo that set them apart. And to be annoying.

I think we're fine for now, and imps probably can't get shield regen for balancing reasons as mentioned above, while rebels utterly need it for any of their small ship aces to be viable. Poe, Miranda or Corran are just not playable without regen.

Palpy was better than regen, at least before the nerf. After the nerf he just needs to be used more judiciously. Waiting for Jabba to push scum into OP territory again tho.

Pftt. None of this matters. Imperials are still good and anyone who says different needs to remember the imaginary la la land of (2000mumble rest of year) where Soontir supposedly killed everything all the time and Howlrunner stole your lunch while Omega Leader was the late game champ that slew nations with 2 dice attacks... I'll concede cloak was broken... but that's been nerfed into the ground where is looks over at Soontir in the basement and they lament together. I play everything. But if I need to win and don't care about cool points, I play Scum then Rebels then Scum right now. I'm an Imperial at heart, but astromechs, bombs, slams (an imperial tech), future-never happened ships, toilet seats of just crazy no play testing, focus everywhere, stress doesn't matter... sigh... I'll stop.

It just burns me when I post a possible fix thats a title that gives TIEs Talonbane's ability... community here blows up... the hilarious thing is that Fenn Rau and Concord Dawns, for less points, with one more health, statistically are better than the dooms day OMG TIE Interceptors that everyone worked up to show me how unbalanced my idea was. So... seeing the net effect of Protectorates out of context everyone cried broken... but its already sitting right there, just better, already in the game for less. Yay Empire

I'll play my Quickdraw, Backdraft, Inquisitor, OL, ZL, Ryad, etc pick 3 or 4 but its like running up an escalator while everyone else is just standing there on the other side going up.... its possible to win, but you work just way to hard at it anymore

Which is why they made sure the empire didn't get it. Another toy they are not allowed to play with.

Arveyl runs into things and shoots them.

When it comes to shield regeneration I'd like it in the Imperial forces only as a ship-specific ability.

By which I mean either Avenger or Gunboat. This way we'd get another model and it would have a unique ability - fighters/bombers/ships for specific task or with a specific capability feel more Imperial than upgrades available to other models.

This would mean a title rather than a modification.

When it comes to the issues which happen to plague Imperial ships right now. I think that the most sensible improvement (without changing the rules of the entire game) is to design more titles, especially those which help with defence,

I'd argue such titles should be situational much like TIE/x7 so rewarding flying a model in a specific way.

Imperials had that both with X7 and Palp although admittedly Palp was offensive too and people whined cried and bitched until it was all nerfed. I agree completely defensive titles would be great but scum lovers and insecure rebel players will cry like babies until it's destroyed into uselessness because it will take no skill and ruin the game. Jumpmasters and regen take skill yo, we can't give the empire some frustratingly equal ability or those 2 archtypes won't win anymore. End sarcasm.

Yeah, god forbid that Imperial players actually get access to cards/upgrades that make list building AT ALL interesting or multi-dimensional. It's ******* ridiculous how many fewer cards Imperials have compared to Scum and Rebels. We're like the Oliver orphans asking the Headmaster "Please Sir, may we have some more upgrades?" and FFG responding: "NO YOU DIRTY LITTLE IMP, SCUM AND REBEL ONLY - EVEN THOUGH THE LORE CLEARLY STATES THIS IS AN IMPERIAL WEAPON."

The Arc Caster makes sense. Just look at the art, the Imps aren't going to strap that monstrosity onto the top of a Defender, are they?
