Rebel and Scum only?????

That could be overlooked, we would just have to give you a fine and confiscate all your ships and property and detain you until your debt is paid but this...

INEXCUSABLE

When are Imperials going to get Regen?

Edited by Marinealver

I would've loved me some Omega Leader with Pulse Ray.

Real Imperials don't use shields. Go Interceptor or go home ;)

*Laughs in rebel*

*Me chunko shebeska solo huhuhuhu*

*cries in interceptor*

Probably as a weird pilot ability that may or may not be worth it.

No regen needed since you have evades everywhere. Also, canon restricted due to tie /D.

mwahahaha, me evil plot exposed;)

yeah don't care too much fore the cannon but it would bee nice. Sort of like every TIE-D a Corran Horn. As for Evade tokens, uh have you played a game since Wave 6? lol Evade tokens don't mean anything to TLTs and homing missiles.

I don't know why people think evade tokens equal shields. The attack power creep has separated evade results from shields a long time ago.

Still Imperials could use I don't know maybe a hull regen. If that is not good enough for hull then shields would be nice. There are only 10 Imperial ships with shields (not counting epic) and 6 of them are TIEs.

Yup, this is SO obviously the reason for the limitation. OL with Regen would be SO broken.

You're looking at this the wrong way.

FFG just saved each of us $69.95!

I believe the "everywhere" applies to exactly one ship that has both a native evade action and shields.

His statement in no way has a shields requirement.

Also, Royal Guard title lets Interceptors get Regen with a Shield Upgrade.

Did I say shields? Nope. :) Imps can stack defenses alright without regen.

I call Shenanigans on the Arc Caster!

Empire INVENTED the Arc Caster, and were the only ones to ever use it!!

Even the Star Wars Wikia http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/ARC_caster

Has the affiliation "GALACTIC EMPIRE"...

No he didn't, but my point is that it's only relevant if a ship has access to both.

The evade action IS your regen, especially when combined with Comm Relay.

Plus, the Imperials have had shields ever since Wave 2, when the Falcon came out. Black Squadron Pilot + Draw Their Fire = Imperial shielding.

Because giving Omega Leader access to both regen AND a one straight seems terrible.

i love it when people compare evade tokens to regen.

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING

Regen a shield. Didnt lose a shield because green dice liked you (or my reds hated me)? Keep shield. Next turn, shield up again. Take 2 hits, lose 2 shields, back to square 1.
Evade action. Didnt use it for whatever reason? Goes away. next turn, evade again, flop on 2 hits with dice. Evade removes 1, still took one, down 1 hp from before.

Run away from battle for a turn or 2...

Shields back to full

Evade token? pfft ish gone

Not until it allows you to discard 1 evade token for shields. Evades can get stripped off by TLT's crackshots, autoblasters, Homing missiles. Preventing damage is not the same as an extra hit point.

Now sure they can prevent a damage and that also can prevent a critical damage effect from resolving as well. You might say hull + evade token = 1 shield token, but not quite. Shields are shields, evade tokens are evade results. Jsut as there are thigns that can ignore shields there are things that can ignore evade results.

Right after reading the Arc Caster for the first time, my immediate thought was, "Oh no! Ruthlessness will be ruthless!" Then I realized that it was restricted to Rebels and Scum and I felt the world return to balance.

They wanted the mod to be availiable to all HWKs, that is the only reason why it is also allowed for Rebels.

No idea about the cannon, but TIE/d does sound a bit strong, as others noted.

These sound like the words a Rebel traitor would use. Report to your commanding officer for reconditioning.

Uh... there's more than just one...

TIE Advanced

TIE F/O

TIE Phantoms

TIE Interceptors with Royal Guard and Shield Upgrade (as had been pointed out)

Firepsray

TIE Defenders (technically they don't have a native evade action, but with x7 they have something better in most circumstances because they get the evade action for free)

TIE Adv Prototype (similar to Defenders, don't have the native evade but can easily get evades with the title)

Just saying. ;)

It's Range 1, you're better off just trying to make the attack actually hit/hurt. More than likely Arc Caster is just going to result in damage to your own face.

If you want to do Ruthless Shenanigans use Tractor Beam, cause then you can literally force your enemy next to his allies for 2 damage at range 1-3.
