3 attack dice with benefit of secondary weapon range rules, VI brings him/her PS to the level where pilots are stacking some serious tokens. Mangler is always good fo those crits and it doesnt restrict your range of attacking like HLC would. I think this would be flown like I used to fly my Kihraxz fighters also, swoop for an attack, fly away fast to gain distance and regen if needed and get back to fight. Just gotta stay away of knife fights and take your time to regroup.
I would love that Genesis Red would be able to use long distance scanners, so I could just pick the most tokened ship away and stack up, might even be bad idea because those ships that have good token economy tend to fly pretty close quarters..
