I have absolutely no doubt that today's exercise with my tournament fleet that ended in a resounding victory means absolutely nothing about its performance over these next three weeks. Luckily I was reminded of a few things I'll need for the tournament, but I still am not confident that I won't be annihilated at each turn.

I will now proceed with pairings.

Players that have submitted their time zones will be paired (if possible) with someone from a similar time zone (so if you're North America you will meet a NA player, for example) for ROUND 1.

Many haven't submitted a time zone. They will be randomly paired without regard for time zone.

After pairings have been made, all fleets will be published. Lists, sans objectives, are public knowledge.

Like in a RL tournament fleets may NOT be changed between matches. They must stay exactly the same, including objectives.

Nobody in Particular, Plagueis, IrishMadCat, ManInTheBox, Plagueis and AnotherMorat are all GMT heroes.

Edit: the REAL reason for this tourney is to bring out more GMT players for me and Gink to play with. But that's a closely guarded secret, so don't tell the Bothans.

I am fine with that as the ultimate objective. That means that whatever happens, I'm already both a winner and a prize.

No one one can take that away from me, no matter how hard they beat me in the next three games.

I had counted Plagueis twice, so we're 21. That's unfortunate, as one player will have to receive a bye.

I've gone through the various lists and assigned players timezone slots.

Everything looks OK, except @GiledPallaeon has a calculation error. He's currently at 410 as far as I can tell, and needs to send in a revised list ASAP.

@anothermorat @itzSteve @NairoD need to submit their objectives to me.

Time zones are grouped into 2: US and Euro. A few had not submitted a time zone; I've made some guestimates here. Let me know if I'm off.

We could REALLY use one more player.

That way there won't be a bye.

So if anyone feels the call... PM me ASAP. I'm even willing to accept a more experienced player if that helps even the number.
