Does anyone fly Quickdraw with Marksmanship?

But expertise isn't bothered by Stress. The FAQ means I think we will be seeing more stress dealers in the meta and Ventress is a favourite Scum pilot anyway.

Re-read the card. It is very much bothered by stress.

I feel that the 'self damage' route with Quickdraw is a trap, and he only truly shines when you instead treat his ability as a 'mini-Dengar'. Give him Lightweight Frame and watch how long he survives - no one will want to shoot at him if it means giving him a free shot on something he has Fire--Controlled, and when they do LWF is a game changer.

Lots of flexibility in the EPT since the other slots handle everything else so well. My own personal preference is Adaptability - PS10 is a powerful tool and it's the cheapest option possible.

I found the Baffle to be worthwhile with Expertise Quickdraw. You don't force it, but you have the opportunity to use your full dial while still supporting Expertise and deter your opponent from using stressing abilities in the same way as you do discourage attacks.

Sigh. Posting from not the current page really is a pain.

The thing is, I've never felt the /SF dial to be that lacking in non-red options, and when points have been spare enough a Pattern Analyzer solves the same problem without causing damage to your own ship. I think it makes more sense to keep Quickdraw alive and deterring attacks for as long as possible than to get greedy taking opportunity shots in the Activation phase - a timing that only benefits you if the target hasn't already moved, which at PS9 does not leave a lot.

As far as stress-giving effects go, the /SF is actually quite resilient to them (FCS, plenty of green and white moves, non-action reliant defence in LWF), and I would not want to give my opponent an opportunity to cause damage with a stress effect even if it meant I got to take a shot. Also, you could get caught out with a stress effect when you don't have a shot to take, in which case you then risk having Expertise turned off the following round if you don't clear it, which the FCS version does not have to do.
