I mean, for a list with no gunnery teams you sure seem set on squadronless here.

Honestly, I hardly play with squadrons much. This list is all about staying mobile and hitting hard. The GSD's close in and do their thing with support fire from the ARQs and jamming/support fire from the Int.

Contrary to the apparent tournament mindset, not everything has to be about squadrons and flotillas.

And I like the idea of a medium base heavy Imp force. I'm so used to being outnumbered.

No thats fair. I prefer to take small fighter screens myself and maximize my damage through ships.

Though 4 smalls and a medium, is alot of shootin, do you find you get the best use out of 5 intel officers?

And why Screed as opposed to Vader? You have only the two crit effects in the whole force.

My feeling is that just one or two intel officers don't quite accomplish much. Multiple officers and you can force a higher volume of token discards, and more rapidly divest your foe of their good tokens.

Screed because ACM's are a guaranteed, all but unavoidable +4 damage per turn when the two GSD's fire. I like nearly unavoidable damage (and I've used ACMs with Screed to horrifying effect before).

But an argument could certainly be made for Vader, with pretty much any ordnance upgrade.
