Hi all
I am as many others these times unemployed, so I have used some of my time sculping. I am planning to resculp all the Talisman miniatures.
This is my first full sculpted miniature. I hope you like it - all comments are wellcome.
Cheers

Wow, jeez, wow, OMG, wow, goodness me... etc!!
That is some very nice work! Tell us more about it!
He looks just like a seasoned veteran of many Talisman games!
In fact, if you fancy writing an article about the process (assuming you have some WIP shots) then I think it would be a great thing to share on the forums/Talisman Island...
I'd love to see a larger pic of the detail too...
Sure, I post a larger image later
And also a picture of the process of the dwarf. But now I have to get my kids home.

Definitely amazing looking work!
Thank goodness the Warrior got a face lift because the one that comes with the game just looks constipated.
Here is a bigger picture as requested.

There will probaly go some time before I make an article, but here is some pictures of the dwarf under the making

Nudey dwarf!!
Have you had any figures made from that Warrior or is that the green painted up? It would have been nice to get a copy of that before it was painted!
Man, that Warrior looks PISSED off
!
"You want my Talisman? Come and take it!"
Wow, that is completely awesome! And it's a definite upgrade too as the Warrior has always been one of my least favorite miniatures due to the unnatural pose he is in.
Great job!

It is the green painted up. I do not know how to make copy of the minis
It would be nice to know a good way to do it.
Very impressive.
I think the plastic figure that comes with the Talisman to begin with is ugly.

(Still can't sort this darn quote thing properly!)
There are plenty of places that can make metal or resin copies of your greens. There is actually a place quite near me that can do it.
http://www.firedragonpewter.co.uk/
I have been in touch with them before, but you might also find a happy amateur who is a Talisman fan that might be willing to help you out!
I do not know much about the process but I guess that paint would interfere with it. Also I would not know how green stuff would hold up to paint stripper...
Of course, they would have to be done as "Generic Fantasy Figures", because of copyright etc, but I am sure they could be used for more than just Talisman. I'd love a set, especially as I can appreciate the effort that goes into this sort of thing. I am supremely impessed!
That is excellent work!
FFG...hire this guy!

I will be considering this. Also I am afraid of copyright if I begin to share these minis
I will hold on painting the next minis I make and just show them as greens until I find out what to do.
If it is not posible to paintstrip the warrior I will just have to make a new one. Since the warrior is my first sculped mini, the next probaly wil be better.
And by the way sorry for my bad english
The dwarf face begin to take its form.
The Warrior is amazing !
His face is very detailed
I would love to have this talent...I would make figures for my Arkham though rather than Talisman, but hey, still very impressive.
holy cow Mr Brogger! those greens rock!! your paint is nice too.
Dwarf in proces.
The dwarf looks very good
Only the legs are a little thin..
But maybe that it will change..

Yes yes, his legs still need some things in this picture.
I have finished his boots and pants now. Next is the leg armour
Next pic will be posted soon.

And to all thank you for the comments you have given. That is something that keeps me working

I've seen a lot of minis, and these are good ! You should learn also how to replicate these with resin and silicone. I don't know the techniques, but I'm sure You can find it in internet... I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in buying a set of alternative figures for Talisman or other games. The Dwarf from FFG is quite OK, put Your talent to Dark Cultist or some other more deserving figure. Excellent work !

Actually I am looking around the net for a good methode to replicate. I am just afraid that my minis is not suitable to replicate. I might have to cut them down in smaller pieces
- But then I might just do that.
If anyone find a place that describes how to replicate minis - please sent me a link.
I agree that the cultist is a figure that deserve more attention then the dwarf. But I get there in time. I have desided to start with the minis from the Talisman game, then the first expansion and so on.
unfortunately I wount have munch time sculping the next 6 weeks. But hope to have some time to get one or two minis finished anyway.
Thanks for now.

Hi all,
I think I finally have found a way to replicate the minis, so hopefully I can make a lot of miniature sets in the future.
I found this on youtube. This is how I think it should be done:
