I have an amazing local store. The owner has been doing this for a LONG time and does a good job. With a company like FFG... we all know Runewars is coming and that it's coming sooner rather than later. We also know that sometimes things sell out ASAP from the distributor. Ergo, he lets us prepay with the understanding that he'll order it when it pops up and that we'll be patient until it shows up.

He also lets us set up a "subscription service" for living card games like A Game of Thrones TCG 2nd Edition and Arkham Horror TCG.

Yesterday my LGS said 2-3 weeks, but didn't have a specific date. He also said that the GAMA (Game Manufacturers Association) trade show starts on Monday in Las Vegas and he's hoping to get more details then.

Hopefully we'll have concrete dates on Monday!

I'm hoping for more than just a release date next Tuesday, I want more expansions spoiled!

Weird thing is, they did preorder 12 starters and the organized play materials, they just aren't letting us out money down until they get told a date

my online retailer in France says that they don't know what will be the exact stocks for Europe until the game does release in the US. So I'll be the late comer and will receive the game in the middle of summer when everybody will be at the beach flirting with girls and browning his skin... Thanks to god, I prefer the forest and the mountain and the company of a giant bear and a pack of wolves than having to share my time with peoples who don't give a sh!t about me and don't want to have their holidays ruined by a no name wanderer. So, i'll be patient. After all, after having waited for a train for 3 hours without seeing it coming in station, I'm fully vaccinated

Beasts of War just said people at there March 30 event will have a 1 month head start on retail purchases. So Beginning of May for the launch now.

Would have liked it earlier but then my birthday is in may so I already have a present, if the German version will be released around the same time.

I'm still hoping that BoW is just referring to getting theirs at the same time as the US, since we've seen evidence Europe is going to be a month behind.
