New Proximity Mine clarification vs Cluster mines

By Hartley07, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Just checking. The new FAQ was very specific with a clarification to proximity mines that they no longer detonate the moment that you drop it on top of someone, and I expected an identical clarification to cluster mines, but there wasn't. Am I to assume that cluster bombs no longer explode immediately because the card reads the same as the proximity mine and I should treat them the same, or do cluster mines still explode immediately because there was only a clarification specifically to proximity mines and nothing else?

(In my mind, I would say cluster mines still explode right away because they physically hit you at that time. The proximity mines I can understand waiting until the next round because I would assume they would need to be activated first in "real life" before they would pick up your movement and explode.)

Sorry where is the clarification in the latest FAQ? Still says it DOES detonate straight away.

Omg I'm an idiot, I totally read it wrong about 10 times before posting. I'm sorry, my brain saw the word "does" in the note section and assumed it said "does not". Thanks for responding, and I'm going to go find my old copy of hooked on phonics.
