The goal is pretty simple, Chewbacca with Jan allows Farlander to remove his stress when he attacks hopefully first with pilot skill 9, and turn it into an evade token for a little more defense. plenty of firepower between the 2 ships but there is room for improvement to the concept I think. Any advice and suggestions are welcome.

Your goal is simple, but the steps to get there are expensive and needlessly complicated. You'll be lucky to fire one of Farlander's torps; if you get the second one off then it's because your opponent had a serious lapse in target priority.

Your admitted, "room for improvement," is a gross understatement.

If you want to fly Chewie and Farlander in the same list, then trim the fat and put in a third ship. By trim the fat, I mean clean slate on both pilots.

Draw their Fire is proven way to use Chewie to keep other ships alive, and it could see a resurgence against Kylo Ren. After that, fill Chewie's crew slots to boost his offense. Gunner is a classic choice.

Farlander is one of my favorite pilots; his best builds are independent and keep upgrades to a minimum. Opportunist and Rage are my favorite EPT's for Farlander.

You should have points left over for a third ship, even a lowly Bandit Squadron Pilot is better than wasting 8-13 points in upgrades on a B-wing that won't live long enough to use all that kit.
