Hi Everyone!

Open submission for Imperial Expansions is officially open.

If you have an expansion that is ready to submit, send your submission to [email protected].

All submissions must follow one of the forms found here: SUBMISSION FORMS . Please download the form you wish to use, and send a filled-out form as your submission. Here is an example of a filled-out form: EXAMPLE . Please send files used to generate card images (for example, .eon files from strange eons) as an attachment to the email. If your cards move on to the next round of the CCL development, these files will be made publicly available, so that other participants can easily submit altered versions of your cards.

If you have not already, please read the season 2 submission rules, which can be found in the season 2 announcement thread .

If you have any questions about the process, feel free to ask them here or on the announcement thread. I will be posting the submissions for Imperial expansions (both custom ship and aces packs) in this thread as they are received. Feel free to post your expansion here after it has been submitted.

The deadline for submitting a Imperial expansion is March 21, 11:59 PM, Eastern Standard Time. Submissions sent after that time may not be included in the upcoming vote on Imperial expansions.

If you want to update a submission that you have already submitted, the deadline is also March 21, 11:59 PM EST. To update a submission, send a reply to the original submission email with the changes.

The vote on the Imperial expansion submissions will start by March 28. Feel free to discuss submissions here, or on their individual threads on the forum.

Luckily I posted here in the forums my Champions of the Empire expansion before I lost my HDD. I will be formatting it into the document and submitting next week.

PS: so much for the Scum aces pack I was working on.

By the way, the TIE/sa title was a card last season, so it can't be submitted this season. Otherwise, it looks cool.

Hopefully i get some time to submit my Missile Boat Expansion. Have it almost fine tuned.

Only thing is that the Adv. Targeting Systems is a word copy of Bombardier.

Yeah, that should probably be rewritten as well.

I'm planning to submit a Scimitar Assault Bomber and a Punisher/TIE fighter aces pack for this round.

What if, after you deployed a bomb, it could do a barrel roll? place the 1 speed template next to it and do it like that. but that'd be broken on conner nets.

I'll have to think about this one. For that ability, it'd have to be "drop on reveal" bombs, which might actually make them viable. You know what i actually kind of like that. Being able to reposition a reveal bomb is really good and not mega broken, cause the good ones tend to be expensive.

For Brick, you might limit it to one damage per round. Being able to change up to 6 hits from a cluster mine set into 6 crits is...a lot. I like the TIE/sa upgrade (even if it has to be renamed due to being in season 1)

Is the old TIE/sa title still in the league?

If yes, I will remake this card to something like this: Surface Assault Load, TIE Bomber and TIE Punisher only [missile card] You upgrade bar gains the [bomb] upgrade icon. You may equip [bomb] upgrade cards as if they were [missile] upgrades.

Going by the rules babaganoosh posted originally, it doesn't matter if it's still in the league or not. Anything from season 1, whether it's removed or sticks around, is unavailable to be re-submitted in season 2.

I admire the people who follow the rules to the book. Really. After all, rules should be enforced for everybody. But you should never forget to question if the rule is arbitrary and/or harmful. If this case, it's important to question that rule and promote the changing of the rule. (yes, I'm chaotic good)

Anyway, if it is needed for me to change the name of the card because of the rule , I will do it. If it is needed for me to change the effect of the card so it won't match with another in the game (or previous submissions) because of the rule , I will do it. Will this make the game (or our experience using those cards) better? - not necessary. Heck, it could actually make it worst.

Well I can almost guarantee that changing the name of a card because it exists in the first season won't make anything worse if that's all that changes :P. And I agree with the rule of not having cards with effects identical to existing ones (I was one of the ones that suggested it, and so far FFG hasn't made any exactly identical effects, though some are similar).

As for the renaming itself, it's less me being legalist and just pointing out how the rules are currently written. I'm not the one that's in charge of enforcing them, so just giving you the heads up

The TIE/sa title is slated to be revised for season 2. The original can be found HERE . Basically, it is very similar to your title (yours is probably directly related to it somehow). I suggest that you drop the title from this submission and hold on to it for when we submit the revisions for season 1 cards. It would not be a valid card for this submission.

Most recent version of Aces and Eights, including some wording fixes to Heavy Bomber (though I see a typo eluded me.)
