Dear FFG I know the young design team luv them some cards but please stray back on the path of keeping STAR WARS X-WING MINIATURES GAME... A MINIATURES GAME.
We don't like to see you have to pull this week's Faq-mess, WE DON'T LIKE ACE-WING; it sucks and we who love the REAL GAME and have supported you with thousands of dollars in miniatures purchases feel bad for you when this sort of deep rooted problem turns into a silly public drama.

There is no "real" game, there is just the game. FFG got a little crazy the past two waves and this is their way of reeling everything back in.

This FAQ is actually good for the game, it has taken significantly ovepowered pilots/upgrades like Manaroo/Palp and made them more moderate.
Please quit speaking for everyone else.
100/6 is a real game for some of us and we like it to stay healthy and ffg seems to try to fix things up.
It actually can be fun, you know, even of you dont play sone homemade scenarios or sth offstream. Even if its cool in its own right.
And don't make it collectable...

I fully support FFGs actions, with 30+ ships in the game we where seeing only 5 or 6 of them in the current meta. Creative list building was all but shut down every list was built around can it handle trip defenders can get go toe to toe with dengaroo? FFG just did what they needed to and stop some broken combos. My option of it being broken or yours doesn't matter FFG is the final judge on that.
This is a good thing new life has been given to list building. We should all celebrate just like Joe Boss is doing!

The REAL game JBR7 is referring to is the game played just for fun- not the game played at tournaments or in an ultra-high competitive setting (some of us only see this second type of game). I'm We're sure FFG made changes for both types of gaming.

I think I'm done with X-Wing tournaments entirely once Hoth is over. The new FAQ coming 2 weeks before it has really turned me off to competitive X-Wing. I might just say **** it and take a random all T65 squad or something to Hoth just to have some fun in my likely last tournament. No sense in continuing actual preparation, as it has only led to frustration so far.
