(Potential Spoiler) Victory Points for first scenario

By Seam, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

We played the first scenario of the core set. Two rooms, if I remember correctly, have victory points. My question is,

1 do the investigators get those victory points in any case if they solve the scenario,

2 do the investigators only get the victory points if they solve the scenario AND there are no more clue tokens on the card(s),

3 do the investigators get the victory points regardless of the outcome, or

4 is there another conclusion we did not think of.

Thanks!

The investigators get the victory points for the location if there are no clue tokens remaining on the card, regardless of the final outcome of the scenario.

^^^^^This.

Yeah the rule book was not very clear on this one - but it's in there. When you count cards in the victory display, you also count any locations which have victory points and zero clues remaining on them.

Check the FAQ - page 21 - Victory Display / Victory Points - in the section of bullet points the 2nd point is

- At the end of a scenario, place each victory point location that is in play, revealed, and with no clues on it in the victory display.
