The faction shown also said it was absolutely fruitless to get into the fight.

Just now, Swusn said:Where is that pic from? I agree it's pretty amazing.
You can find it on the Alt-Art Card for "Predator" in X-Wing.
Where it is from before that, I do not know. But that is what FFG has used it for, so far.

It previously appeared in The Essential Guide to Warfare - representing the Battle of Tingel (also known as the disaster at Deepspace Besh:

Edited by IronlordI was never interested in a Providence in Armada and although there is no canon source for it in the Alliance to restore the republic a rebel cell (we assume who were acting alone) did use one against Moff Tarkin 5 years after the Empire was formed.
Parts from the Lucid Voice and Invincible were cobbled together to attack Sentinal Base. If I remember that novel correctly they also used Z-95 headhunters and droid fighters in their attack.
That being said we have enough rebel ships to pull from and if we get the MC-75 we will have far to many Large base rebel ships Vs. the Imperials 1 large base ship. But maybe down the road it might make sense.
Edited by SwusnThe imperials mostly only used 1 large base ship........
Good question. Right now it seems like Armada is running out of ships but with the slower release schedule that isn't much of a problem. The big issue is will Armada pull from the prequels, or the sequels first?
Then there is also the question on more factions. With prequels, sequels, and the OT for Armada there is a potential of 6 separate factions. On one side are factions just for theme and aesthetic such as the 1st Order and Resistance is for X-wing, or are they going to be completely separate like Scum is from the Rebels. Will there be any cross over or alliance?
For me I wouldn't mind more factions. Although I am not sure about 6 separate factions. 3-4 seems the easiest to balance. However 6 factions could work and there is also the case of alliance, It is no secret that Republic will be close allies with Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire since both factions take their technology from that. But what about 1st Order, CIS, Resistance? IMHO Allies work better in Armada because it isn't as hardcore competitive as X-wing and there is a little more emphasis on a narrative with Corelian Campaign than on tournament competition. Here is my idea of an Alliance chart.

Here the First Order is closer with CIS as far as politics go since both are semi-sovereign states rebelling from the greater galactic power. Resistance is also closer to CIS because they are operation outside of the Republic. But yeah you have more than just light side and dark side in Star Wars. You have Unity and Independence. The idea is that alliances do not extend more than one adjacent faction. So no triple faction builds.
Well those are just my thoughts and opinions on the mater. We may have a Primary and Subfaction on things with Good Guys vs Bad guys for more of a extension of the 2 faction narrative (although I would think that would be boring). We may have additional factions such as 4 or even 6 factions (but there will still be no Scum). As for now I think we are going to be in the 2 faction OT for some time just like Command and Conquer. They never did really become any good when they tried to introduce a 3rd faction into their story-lines (they would have been better off merging the Tiberium and Red Alert universes into one for a 4 faction world war.)
