Chopstick, if you were going anyway and have been practicing you probably have some pretty refined skills, most of them are transferable from ship to ship. Right now, now one will be in practice, and you will have a lot of options. True you won't have as much practice, but your opponents won't be able to predict your list. Given the changes I'm assuming you were using Manaroo, since or Zuckuss, and I'm willing to bet, as these were both popular, the best players have plenty of practice against them. While your new list might be raw, your opponents won't have the practice against it! You might have this!

Still though, it is a pity, I know I'd hate to see my beloved T-65s get a nerf (God forbid). It would be a shame to have to change your whole strategy suddenly.... Either way, I wish you and everyone else the best of luck!
