Agreed, Mindlink does not need Manaroo.
For what it is worth, everything is nerfed.
I'm surprised they didn't wait until post Hoth for this (should I be? Is this normal?). A bit of a hard nerf hammer, but yeah, wow.
Overall... Good.
Edited by LobokaiX7: THANK YOU FFG!
Zuckuss: Two thumbs up
Manaroo: Wow! Wish you coulda put this out BEFORE the Endor open. Not sure if it went too far.
Palp: Seems fair to, but never run Imperials anyway, so I will take any nerf I can get.
Thank goodness! Now all the whiners can shut up. The changes don't matter to me. I'll just fly the next best thing.

You mean you haven't been drinking the tears of rebel players all this time?

I'm on the fence about Palp.
X7, I predict the D's are going to become a bit more popular.
Zuckuss, I've been a proponent of this change for a while.
I can't say I'm thrilled that so many cards now require updated FAQs, but I can see why they're doing it.
The problem with the Defender was always cost vs perfomance, and /x7 still makes them both less expensive and more durable. /d still just makes them even more glass cannon-y, I wouldn't expect much to change in that regard.
I feel like Zuckuss is going back in the binder/box/whereever you store your cards. He already mostly only showed up in lists that didn't care about piling stress tokens, I can't imagine he'll still see play now that they do matter.
Manaroo probably didn't need to be knocked all the way to range 1, but the change is still fine.
The Emperor is probably fine; even if there's a small chance now he'll just do nothing, he was already undercosted for the power of his effect. For defense you do still get to see what your opponent's final roll was before making your decision so it's not all guesswork.
Its... an odd feeling to see such a 'big' FAQ and then realize none of your 3 go-to lists are affected at all.
1. 2-HWK Y-wing
2. Z-95, Y-Wing, Quad
3. Mindlink Scyk
M9-G8 does allow re-rolls on SnapShot. (As expected if you pay attention but was still contentious with some folks)
VERY good erratas! Thank you for that!!
THE META IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE META!!!!!
Holy smokes I'm pretty happy with all of these.
Poor Palpy though. Is this card still worth 8 points?

Unfortunately, the whiners will never shut up
I'm pretty happy with the changes as a non-meta player, but it's going to annoy top tier players. X-7s still rock though. Scum have taken a pounding. I worry a little that we'll see a hoard of Kanan/Biggs on the top tables from here on out.
Eh, some of the changes seemed excessive, but I'll wait to see how the new meta will turn out.
So all of this looks good for a new player who plans to fly Rebel ships?

Yup

Yup, and now the raider is even less attractive to people who don't love TIE advanceds

To be followed by the T-65 X wing fix article
I'll say, the new rules don't seem overly restrictive or outlandish, put a bit more skill back into the use of a lot of abilities, except Zuckuss but, y'know, IR is a thing and he's still completely usable on Epic.
R1 on Manny is REAL harsh though, I think FFG may have leaned too hard on the vocal group there. I guess they wanted to make sure she was clearly not as good the first time rather than have to do it all over again, geez.

Parattani is still going to care. Part of the power was being able to reflexively pass the focus token to whomever needed it. A range-one leash takes away a lot of that flexibility.

3-4 threads about the new FAQ and no one has bothered to actually list the major changes for those who can't read a PDF at the moment?
The Palp and Manaroo nerf seems excessively harsh.

I struggle against TIE x/7s, but even I think it still should have said "receive an evade token" at the end instead of "perform a free evade action."
Nah, this does exactly what everyone says they want. . .good flying is the base of the game, and not good flying = no rewards. It would be nice to see more Ds.
