Worra! Aye is headed your way he's gonna show you how to flip a manual override switch by the docks.

"Attention, shoppers!" he announced. "Please exit the mall in an orderly manner as quickly as possible. Your safety is our ultimate concern."
The red light on the terminal blinked out, indicating that the message had been recorded. The terminal then displayed MESSAGE RECORDED. ADDED TO THE QUEUE. SCHEDULED TRANSMISSION TIME 26:00.
Blast, thought Worra. That transmission won't be much use in nine hours.
Worra climbed to the floor and heaved one of the injured onto his shoulder, directing the other survivors to the exits. "You there, help me carry this one. There's an exit by the oil bath dispensary on the lower level. Let's get you out of here, now."
you are able to help people to evac shuttles quite nicely... you notice somebody presses a com frequency into your hands... its from the chancellors office
Astrid pulls out her only Knockout grenade, takes a moment to line up her toss, and throws it at Kull and the troopers:

4 successes, 3 advantage
[3eA=A/A, S, S/S] [1eP=S/A] [2eB=A, -] [1eD=Th]
(Activate Blast/ Use remaining advantage to get behind cover). Diving away from the troopers, Astrid finds cover behind a crate, checking her mask as she tries to catch her breath.

Diving away from the troopers, Astrid finds cover behind a crate, checking her mask as she tries to catch her breath.
( its not kull its the Faceless creature however ) the grenades knocks out 4 troopers.... who he grabs with the force and they are used as a shield
the creature angles his head to the side..... " do not say I didn't give you a choice "
Astrid is picked up from cover and thrown about 12 meters like a toy... 5 damage....
" GIVE ME THE SITH AND THE CREATURE.... LAST WARNING CHILDREN " each suffer 2 strain ( Durrak, Yorik, Worra, our new Medic friend)
"These things mean nothing to me" and he snaps one of their necks just to make a point

( perfect throw! That may just be a sign of true love... ?? Totally unrequited but still true. Uhh, bad timing. That comment was meant for Astrid)
April, I have a couple of questions for clarification. I didn't realize the Acolyte was the Miraluka. Was she the one that made the scream earlier? Is the miraluka Imo Kul? Or is she a separate being?)
Edited by CartergameKull is the body host jumping creature ( The acolyte of screaming is the Miraluka(, its whom your facing now) Kull has been dealt with.... this enemy
have a blue dice as an apolgy?
despite its violence seems oddly sane
Bennar makes his way through the gore, following his new friends. He already showed his medical skills with the friendly Sith, now it's time to show his skills with his big stun gun.
Leveling his rifle at this new enemy, the Acolyte, Bennar lets a few rounds fly.
(Strain taken, man I'm buring through that! Roll coming up....)
3 Success, 1 Threat. That makes 13 stun damage before soak assuming I did the roll correctly. What should I do with the threat? If I did it wrong let me know and I'll edit.

(Ouch. I don't think I properly understood what activating blast on a knockout grenade would do... damage taken).
(edit: okay, I think I was force-thrown by the Miraluka?)

The blast was absorbed by the Troopers, it was the Acolyte who threw you around.

Its head snaps towards you... As you open fire it launches itself into the air igniting three Lightsabers which deflect the shots despite their accuracy ( you guess hes taken maybe 1/3 of the damage) " Dont do that again..... "
" I am growing very bored of this... are you able to reason...?. "
the troopers launch shots at Worra ( and do a single threat ( wow) Griff, who gets 8 damage, Oddly they don't fire at Yorik
(They're smart enough to know if they attack me that the rancor will kill them all...)
"Ok Nix, while they're distracted let's get you to safety! Let's go! Run!"
Using the distraction from Bennar's attack, Yorik and Nix bolted up the concourse toward the spaceport. Yorik leapt over the known triggers of the stun snares and guided Nix as well. They were well into the Stun Zone should the troopers or the Miraluka attempt to follow.
Yorik felt bad about not being able to help Astrid or engage the enemy right now but it was all he could to remain conscious with all the recent strain he'd taken.
(Was I able to implement knock out gas? And I can activate stun turrents?)
(Also lets lead this baddie back to our trap zone)

Uhh.. Next time throw farther, run faster... Agkk.. something. Okay, I can move everything...
Adjusting her breath mask, Astrid picks herself up and.. Frack me..

Shaking her head, still see three... time to go.
Edit: SPY-D, Time-to-go.

Astrid works her way back to where she'd stashed the hoversled, relying more on speed, than stealth. Thishurtsthishurtsthishurts.. my new mantra..
Seeing Griff on the move, also a bit worse-for-wear, Astrid manages a smile.
Hop on next to blue-eyes, here (motioning toward the sled), and cover our withdrawal.
Continuing with the sled, she feels slightly better with Griff watching her back.
Edited by Edgehawk
(Wish I could like all of these but I hit my daily limit):)
Yorik withdrew as quickly and as far as he and Nix were able to into the stun snare zone and trusted in his team to keep them alive.
They had come to this port ready to take down a rancor so anything short of that would take the full brunt of those snares. Now, that Shard was on the stun cannons and in charge of the station's security as well it would be only a matter of time before she would have to yield or succumb to either stun cannons, snare explosions, knockout gas, Griff's long range stunning shots, or better yet, all of the above.
"Come and get us if you can, Acolyte. We offered you ice cream but instead you'd rather fight? Ok, We'll do things the hard way and see which one of us comes out on top!"
Edited by CartergameWorra drew his sporting blaster and returned fire at one of the Death Troopers. "Stand Down, Trooper. You have no authority here," he shouted through his collar amp, still trying to help as many victims escape as possible.

7 Damage - probably barely even pierces their armor.... Suffering one strain from the threat. Giving my gun to JSE to carry so that I can focus on the man I'm carrying instead, as shooting might not be for me.
One of Worra's blasts struck an advancing trooper in shoulder. The recoil on the blaster shook him, nearly dropping the Neimoidian that he was helping to carry. The man's face wrenched in pain. Worra dropped his blaster for JSE to pick up as he hurried out.
Uhhh THREE LIGHTSABERS!!!! Guys...I think you left out a little detail about this guy. Next time warn me that I'm about to rile up a TRIPLE LIGHTSABER WIELDING MONSTER! Bennar takes the hint with the rest of the group, it's time to fall back. Oh Guys...guys! I'm not privy to any exit plan you may have so a little heads up would be welcome. You know, assuming there are some "Surprises" set for any pursuers.
(If Astrid is near me I'd like to make a medical check to heal some wounds, assuming she has some. @Edgehawk are you near me and what would the difficulty be based on your wound threshold? I'm a little fuzzy on where everyone is in relation to the others and the enemies at the moment.)
(I linked my rolls from earlier today and corrected typos. Thanks for being patient with the silly phone auto correct shenanigans.)

(We're all
running like frell
strategically withdrawing to the ship (which will hopefully be there). Astrid shouldn't be too difficult to find. She's probably the only one pushing a hoversled with a statue and a Jawa. Wound Threshold 14, 5 Wounds received.

Medic?
( Griff, you see him? Good! Cover his approach).
With us, then! Nice shot, by the way. Took its attention away from me, at least.
Edited by EdgehawkBennar makes his way over to Astrid and Griff. Nice to meet you guys, I take it we're on our way out? Let me patch you up really quick. Not sure if we are going to see much combat now, but do you guys want a shot of my combat booster just in case? I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Mr. Triple Shiny Sword and his henchmen. Sometimes we have to patch things up when there's a lull in the fighting, as we seem to have right now. Never know when it'll blow up again, literally. Bennar pulls out his medkit and tends to Astrid, fortunately nothing as bad as the Sith has happened to her, after some basic first aid Astrid seems to be fully healed and a touch calmer, which encourages Bennar. (Upgrade to my next check)
Medical check for Astrid
:
3eP+1eD
3 successes, 1 advantage, 1 Triumph
(Difficulty is easy since you are at less than half your threshold. 3 Success plus 2 ranks of surgeon means your full five wounds are healed, as well as one strain removed. With the Triumph I'll upgrade my next check. Do you guys want the combat stim or does Griff need medical attention as well? The combat stim lasts one combat encounter and boosts one characteristic of your choice by 1. You do take strain though when I'm successful as your cost for receiving the boost, 4 if I make a two purple check, or 1 if I do a three purple check. I'm not sure on strain thresholds and where you are at so I'm waiting till you specifically request it as I don't want to knock anyone out from strain. Make sure to request the "Quick dose" or the "Safe dose." Just some way for me to differentiate which check you want me to make to determine how much strain you're taking would be helpful. My medical rolls 3 Yellow so I should be able to make the hard check most of the time, but if you have the spare strain then doing the average check would greatly increase your odds of getting the boost.)
(Wow, that's fantastic! Have anything to help recover strain? Yorik is about to be knocked out when everything goes off... As a Mercenary, you'll both have much in common when you finally get the opportunity to meet. ..)
Durrak responds the only way he knows (well he can react differently but that is not fun :-)).
Saber throw target the body jumping thing . Durrak throws his trusty discblade at the Acolyte of Screaming and hits it and then reaches out with the force to bring his weapon back to his hand.

Edited by jnrschulz(Reminder- the Miraluka isn't Imo Kul but is the Acolyte of Screaming) she's also going to be a tough match for you, Durrak, but we're glad you showed up!)
(I think the only way for me to heal strain for you is through advantage on a medical check. I don't have any specific talents for strain.)
Pushing the hoversled behind a large toppled kiosk, Astrid permits the Medic to administer to her wounds.
Wow! Thanks.. Bennar, was it? I was afraid I'd cracked a rib, but that feels much better, already.
Helping Griff down from the sled, Astrid climbs on, and assumes a guarded stance with her lancer.
I'm Astrid, and this is Griff. He's taken some blaster fire, and a lot of whiskey. As they say in mountaineering, time is safety, but if you can patch him up quickly, he could use it.
Taking a quick drink from her canteen, she hands it to Griff.
"Wait a parsec.. You actually carry a fracking canteen?" Barely suppressing a laugh, while Bennar tends his wounds, Griff splutters, "Pffftphhh.. Water?!? Frenda fish frack in it- don't touch the stuff.. Tryin' to poison me?"

(Astrid is still down 5 Strain, so I'll pass on this, for now.. but thanks!)
