It's linked but only superficially. You still need to get to the security office to use the release authorisation.

Yorik had been so busy focusing on the fast moving targets of the death troopers that his threat monitor had missed the danger of the shambling old woman who crept up behind him. Whipping around Confidence , he quickly flipped the setting to Stun and held his finger down on the trigger while it was still on Autofire.

Yorik looked down at the unconscious but still breathing form of the old woman in front of him. He'd shot her three times with the stun setting on his weapon so if she died it would have to be from being the puppet of that monster.

Frustrated by the thought of no clearcut resolution, Yorik then switched back from Stun to Lethal as he aimed at the Death Troopers and continued to fire.

*I vote we try to finish this right here and now but I will defer to whatever you guys vote.*

(You guys know that every time we've encountered any challenge, Yorik is always gung ho to attack it head on and at full speed. That's not always the right way but its the way I've played him since our 1st mission & he's got a direct military mindset that still needs to develop nuanced long term planning and layered thoughts.)

( Yeah you can see several...However they are up quite high... Theres aklso service ducts which you can probably get into )
