"By the way, Shard... As our resident Mechanical genius, do you know why there's still a block on communications to & from this planet? *Sigh* It wouldn't happen to be because of the orbiting station, would it? We may still have to check that place out..."
Shard sighs... Hmm... Let me see.
He goes to the nearest consol and plugs in.
...zzzxztxz... Ah, well it'll take a second to figure out but, in the meantime for your viewing pleasure...
He flips his pad over to him and a message blocked by Shard's earlier slice from broadcasting, starts playing...

" Hello little Flies in ointment... Did you enjoy Ruining my Distraction?, My test..?. YOU think, I can be stopped? By a bunch of Mynock Munchers like you...?.. This is merely the start... The Galaxy will be reborn in an orchestra of screams.... And I will Have my empire of madness "
The blocks seem to come from the Orbital Platform. Seems the spiders like their privacy.
(So i take it your leaving?)
Yorik sighed again... He just remembered there were the Sith or Jedi Ruins that needed to be investigated on the planet before they could leave.
"Worra, you feel like driving your speeder to the site with me riding shotgun and Shard enjoying his hair being windblown?"
(Can I slice their privacy? Also can I gain access to any cameras or sensors on the orbital station?)
He chuckles at "wind blown hair", and rubs his hands through the patches of feathery tufts poking out between scar tissue from old burns and the ramshackle looking assemblage of cybernetics scattered across his neck and skull.
I think we do need to check those ruins... Arggg... And probably a good idea to do the same with the orbital station.
However I don't like leaving these villagers alone. I have a feeling the surprises ain't over. Let's leave Ro and Ed here. Let's talk to the Gand before we go...
Shard turns to a group if villagers. He asks Aye to pull up footage from when they took the Gand shortly after their arrival.
He took back his pad and held it up high to show the group.
Hey... Do any of you know this guy? Anyone wanna vouch for him? Anyone have a reason he shouldn't be let go?

Slicing the station is Hard 4 Purples
" that was the Gladiator who came to try to put an end to the Hutts pets.. we all thought he was dead. Hes a hero he saved us, helped us fortify the Hall"
Slice station
:
2eA+2eP+3eD+2eB
3 successes, 5 advantage
(i used data breaker for+2 blues, and I suffered 2 strain using cyber jack to reduce difficulty by 1, so what can I spend all those lovely advantages on?
Basically you have access to everything and you do not trip their almost un-hackable security measures . from what you understand the Spiders basically were explorers from another galaxy. they used the force but it was known as the voices of the golden light. however a schism accrued and two groups emerged, one who tried to make the trip back and this group who set up shop here. Largely they have been hidden and really do not want any part of large scale governance.
you can see they try to rehabilitate dark side users.
Well...
He takes a deep breath before explaining what he found out about the spider creatures.
Still leaves those kriffing ruins though...

It was bounced around a lot but you found it originated on Korriban
Yorik mused, "Hmmmm... Spiders that REHABILITATE Dark Side Users??? Wow... How would they even begin to do something like that?"

Sar projects his image into the room, it glows with blue light, the air seems colder " So what did you learn from this? "

"Learn ? I was not aware that this was a training session. But I did see that I can others a little bit more. This group may be a little rough around the edges but they helped people when needed.
So is this about all of us learning or is that just a extra bonus ?"

QuoteCan Worra make a leadership check to rally the townspeople and convince them that all is going to be well? Basically, he wants to spend the next day helping to organize the people, repair things as necessary, set up appropriate defenses in case there are still roving rakghouls, etc, as well as track down political allies who will help with the disaster relief. Maybe with a boost because Worra is an actual representative of their government?
(Can the Hind's sensors pick up any rakgouls left?)

if you want to try its 3 purples with 2 setbacks
(Sensors pick up anything at the ruins?)
Aye, look over the Hutt's palace for anything useful we might have missed... Clues or good stuff to scavenge...

*Beep beep* it achnowledges Aye wizzes off, it reports nothing of any real value, maybe scrap if you could process it... also signs of small rain showers on the way.. that should clear by morning
Odd... Looks like someone got to whatever the Hutt had before us...
Yorik held his helmet in his hand and appraised Aye's flyover scene on the tablet while standing behind Shard's shoulder, "No, looks like we did the job we needed to do. So, I bet now it's time to head back to get paid by our employers and then move on toward Karriban. I already have a feeling that's where we're heading next. Don't forget, Shard, that Eldrith retrieved those artifacts and they were worth around 9k Credits, easy... That, along with our split should be a nice haul. Also, we have the laser sword... Does anyone here know how to use it? It looks like it would be pretty effective in a fight! At the very least, that too, may be worth something.
"All in all, my friends, I'd say that we saved the day, kicked some limb, and rescued the town, and blew the Frell out of the place... Best of all, we lived to tell about it!"
Then, with a mischievous grin, Yorik said, "Hey, Aye, please replay the 10 seconds before and after the blast at the Palace please..." He laughed when he saw how they all scrambled like mad to escape and how they'd all been lucky to get blown up but not blown up to bits like everything else. He laughed and guffawed at Worra being trapped under the massive statue and Shard standing up without his arm attached. "Gents, we got LUCKY to have survived that!"
"Hey, Durrak! I don't know if that's what you call the Force but that's what I call Lucky as FRELL, friend!" With a hearty laugh, Yorik raided the refrigerator and broke out any cold beverages he could find for everyone on board. Tonight, they would celebrate!
