"Comrades in arms become friends for life " Yorik thought of the old adage as Worra's bravery and stun grenade drew the attention of the dark monster. That was all the time Yorik needed. He unleashed Confidence high up in the air and blasted a massive hole in the ceiling and side of the wall that let the last rays of sunshine shine into the palace.

The long rays of reddish sunlight from New Taris' sunset were exceptionally sharp because of the refraction from the pollution which acted as a magnifying lens. Combined with the former garish opulence of the Hutt's palace, the dome suddenly filled with a dazzingly blinding sunlight and dazed the invading rakghouls.... Even causing their bodies to burn and smoke from the ultraviolet radiation. (Use a Destiny Point? )

QuoteVery cool scene! Loving the vibe @April
The scene before Worra was more horrifying than anything the young Dorian could ever have imagined. What chance did the fledgling Republic have if gangsters could unleash horrors such as the Rakghouls upon the galaxy. Worra had thought that it was
The Kel Dor's mind was racing, though the moment felt paralyzingly still. He watched in horror as the beast advanced on Yorik, though the sunlight peaking through the holes in the roof was being to searing the monster's flesh...

The Sunlight poking through force the creature back, Like some Cutting Beam, You see the burn marks and welts sear into the beasts skin. the Monster glares, and digs its shovel sized fists into the ground, Ripping it up, as if to provide itself some cover and escape route. But the creature winces in pain. It seems the relentless of your attacks has badly injured the monsters leg.
It clutches at it in order to stem the bleeding, Shard notices an overhanging net that holds a series of crates... which just so happens the creature is under.. a well placed charge could bury the monster... if not crush it
Cletus on the other hand fires his " gun" at a few straggling beasts that erupted from behind... the sound is deafening.....followed by a loud " Take that you Chompers !".. all that remains is a red mist.....
Meanwhile Durrak had, swiftly killed the creatures that had dared to poke their heads through their tunnels in the town hall.
Remember folks, we 'sposed to take one back! Let's not make it this big'un please!
On second thought, do we got enough stun to bring this guy in? One helluvah barging chip for more loot.
Yorik shouted between his controlled bursts aimed at the wounded monster's leg...
"Shard, there's crazy and then there's Frelling Crazy! Keep the big guy alive? No thanks! In fact, let's keep aiming for his leg, focus our fire, and blow it clean off!
If you want him then you can bring back a trophy part! Meantime, there's treasure here to find AFTER we clear the area so stay sharp, let's kill these things, and stay ALIVE to explore later!"
Oh come on, he's not that scary. You think he'd fit in the hold?
Serve that banker's proxy right dropping this beastie off for him to deal with!
Lighting crackles around the monster in crimson, waves... power building... to be vomited towards the Heroes (are you all bunched together?) It smashes into the Makeshift barricade blinding everything surround... The monster flees into the hole bellow...... It seems if you want to end this thing you have to find its nest......

"Frell!" Yorik exclaimed after the monster retreated below. He sighed and then took a deep breath... steeling himself for what was to come. Following the beast into its lair in the darkness was one of the most foolhardy things they could do. That would be where the monster was at its most dangerous. But they had no choice. It was down to Kill... or be killed.
"Let's focus on the positives. It's heavily wounded and losing a great deal of blood. We don't give it any chance at all to recover and we can have this thing dead before the moons rise. Then, we can explore this palace and claim whatever we want for reward as we like, Shard".
"Worra, I don't know where you learned to negotiate like that but you, sir, are my kind of diplomat."
"I hope Cracax, Durrak, Eldrath, and the others have been able to get their reinforcements and defenses secured in case these monsters try to escape in their direction."
However, questions nagged at him regarding the dead Hutt's major domo. "Worra, who was that guy you were shooting at and what was he looking for again? He said that it was all going to be his?"

Failure: Worra will add a setback to all subsequent checks this encounter. Advantages: One of Worra's droids, JSE, is floating outside above the roof. Its now visible through the hole. Worra calls in and sends it to Shard to be loaded up with the explosives. Let's use JSE as a suicide bomber to take out the net.
The situation began to wear down upon Worra. Nothing had prepared him for his. Though his resolve was strong, he could feel his hands begin to tremble.
Just then, he spotted one of his "Eye in the Sky" droids floating just above the palace, through the hole that Yorik had blasted. An idea began to form.
"I hope you have some explosives left," Worra shouted to Shard. "Strap what you can onto the droid. We can blast the net to crush the creature." Worra tapped the droid control on his wrist, and the droid obediently descended through the crevice and floated toward Shard's hiding place.

(Cletus has a barrel of explosive booze).... though it might be too big for the droid.

QuoteAnything I can strap on him? Could Shard pull out some non-essential systems and fill the droid with the explosive alcohol?
Or maybe Shard could jury rig the droid's stabilizers so that its able to lift the barrel? Its not like JMS will need its engine anymore after the barrel explodes. Or is there a way for somebody to climb up to the spot to plant something?

Fail! And the beastie destroys my cover!
Worra searched frantically for a way to execute his plan, but it was of no use. The melee had crushed every bottle, glass, and treefrog jar. There was nothing that would be a suitable delivery device. Someone would have to find a way to secure the explosives manually.
"The Hutt's majordomo, Zenith," Worra called back to Yorik. "He just here to rob his old master, but it looks like he's gone out of his way to bring hell down upon us. The scum is complicit in Gonothar's crimes. He has to see justice. He has to pay."
Distracted by the search and Yorik's questions, Worra didn't keep his head down when the creature came around. The Rakghoul's massive claws slashed through the debris. Worra scrambled backwards, just barely avoiding an early demise.

Here's my roll to search for an emergency switch on his platform or another way to climb up.
Searching for a way up : 3eA+2eD+1eS+1eB 2 successes, 1 threat
Success: Found a busted hovertray that was used to serve the hutt that could be used to carry the explosives. Threat, the thing initially short circuits for one strain.
Realizing that strapping explosives to JMS wouldn't work, Worra adjusted his search. He needed to find some way to climb up or to deliver the barrel. Urged on by fear and determination, Worra scoured the wreckage. Just then, he spotted it. Below one of the gory arms of one of the dead rakghouls was a hovertray. He had seen a similar tray used to serve paddy frogs to the corpulent Hutt. An indicator on the side of tray indicated that the repulsors were still working. The thing would be perfect for lifting the explosives. Worra grabbed it to take it to Shard, when suddenly a jolt of electricity shot through his body.
Blasted open wires, he thought. Better be more careful next time.

Kriff this...
The creature turns towards Shard and bellows, the momentary pain from the blaster bolts and sunlight ignored as if insulted by his previous comment. Its gaping maw full of large sabre like teeth. Its close enough that Shard can smell it's breath, the odor which is like a hundred rotting corpses. His stomach turns. Whatever thought of taking this creature in alive whatever dismissal of how dangerous this creature is, disappears totally from his mind. The only advantage is they seem to know how to hurt it and with that there's a ray of hope in an otherwise gloomy position. Shard slowly backs away.
But I'm not suiciding that poor droid...
His mind races almost forgetting the big barrel bomb they brought with them.
Ah kriff, kriff, kriff... What to do, what do? That barrel bomb moonshine! Oh fragging hell! (can I use the advantages to give a bonus to whoever rolls the barrel bomb towards the creature? Let's roll the bomb towards the creature and shot at it as it gets close! Then escape down that hallway after the runaway.)
Roll that barrel!!!! Tell your droid to get out the way... Shoot the thing as it gets to it and let's get the frag on our way, hurry now let's get outta here!
Shard he throws the ryloth cocktail in a panicked shot at the creature and takes a few steps towards the hallway.
(Taking a set back dice due to failure on the fear check, I'm assuming that's the effect if I'm wrong I'll edit)

Yorik knew that with so much going on the barrel bomb would be too heavy for the little droid to carry. So, he jumped toward the barrel and hauled it where he could aim it toward the monster.
He knew munitions. He knew what he'd have to do to line this up and to make it count since they only had one shot at it this way.
