Well this place is just full of suprises! Kriff it, give me a laddle of that good stuff!

Seems like we are staying either way... fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag....

He turns to the Keldor sticks out his prosthetic hand for the Keldor to shake.

I'm Shard, Howdy.

We can talk more when we find ourselves alive and at sunrise.

Lets finish up here and take positions... I guess we are staying the night.

(can i make a mechanics check to provide improved barricades? I'd also like to make some ryloth cocktails)

You can make a mechanics check, ill give you 5x cocktails each?

But you do need to light them

Much success! Lets burn something! I'm kriffing ready!!

Shard emerges from behind the bar and does a little victory dance with a few cocktails in his hand and more sitting on the bar top.

Cletus already has one but ... You make a makeshift flamethrower, it only has a couple of uses but hey that is good right?

(Beyond my wildest dreams! however i'll probably hand it over to a more proficient combat specialist)

Soooooo..... anyone wanna see the suprise? Well I saw some spare metal alloy tubing in the back. And a glass carboy, well with some spacer ducking tape, a couple of screws and a rotary grinder to create sparks... I think we've got ourselves a flamethrower! However seeing as a few of you are better pew pew-ers then myself, whose the lucky bastard!? Who wants to be the cheif? We got roast Rakghoul on the menu!!

(do we have any restraints left or did we leave everything with the Gand and the wookie on the ship?)

Looks like you have several pairs...

"Cletus, old pal," said the Kel Dor. "Are there any detection systems set up in the town? Anything that could be used to monitor the movements of the chompers? At the very least, any way we can set up floodlights? I know your ole' blamblammer can take care of any that come venturing for a drink, but it might be nice to know what they are up to."

The Kel Dor figured that a decent monitoring system might make the difference in life and death. He flipped through the New Taris insider's guide that he has loaded on his datapad to see if there are any working security systems around Gonothar's palace.

Worra would like to ask Cletus and any local authorities that he can get in touch with whether there are any sort of detection systems that might be used to keep track of the rakghouls. Worra's "Eye in the Sky" droids, JSE and JMS, will be doing constant scans of the town during the night to keep track of their movements. They don't have darkvision and will stay at a save altitude (50 ft) at all times.

(ooc my bad)

Cletus responds " Hmm might be some lights on the old Tilling machine... the only place that had Cameras was the port ... But Kriiff knows whats Goin' on up there "

The townsfolk are in the town hall so you'd need to go there and ask them.

You have about 25 minutes of daylight left so ...Your droids report that somebody has left the town hall and seems to be running towards the Palace

Let's get to the palace, gents. I trust your eyes in the sky more than anything around here... and thanks for the flamethrower, Shard! We just turned this Ryloth cocktail party into a Tattooine barbecue!

"I don't know if this would be interest to you, but someone has just made a break from the townhall to the slug's palace," says Worra through the speaker in his mask. "Seems like a poor life choice. I take it we should move to intercept?

Would have been nice to get the tilling station's lights on, thought Worra. But no time now.

Worra pressed the wrist control link on his wrist and thumbed through the options on his holo-suit. A ripple began in his boots and shifted up through the whole suit, transforming instantaneously into a black burglar's suit. Only his jacket and blaster remained. He pulled off the jacket and left it on a barstool at Squirbos.

"Save my seat, would ya?" he asked Cletus, not waiting for an answer as he stepped outside into the evening air, scanning the horizon for whoever had just slipped out of the town hall.

Yorik nodded affirmative. "Sounds like they might be moving to join up with us, Worra." "Let's get to them first before any uglies and then we can all move toWard the Palace together. And oh wow, nice holo suit! That is stylish!"

Yorik led the group stealthily toward the figure running toward the palace. He was sure to call out in time so they weren't fired upon and steadily scanned their surroundings with his threat monitor to prevent them from being ambushed as well.

As the figure sees you they hurl a flash grenade in your general direction while it looks like it would hit you it bounces of a lamppost... and completely misses you.

It swears but the distraction is enough to avoid you as it ducks into the Palace Courtyard.

"Stop!" shouted Worra. "We rigged the place with proton detonators! One step further and you'll be blasted clear to Coruscant!"

(You'll need a Coercion roll or Deception roll )

They turn and draw pistols hiding in the leeway of the Palace Entrance.

I think deception is more what I'm trying to do. What is the difficulty?

(3 purples.. but have a blue dice for the quick thinking )

No success, so I take it he basically can't hear me over the flashbang. Can I spend my advantage for him to pause long enough for me to get a good look at him, and maybe to recognize him if he is somebody I would have seen before?

Also, sidenote: I remove two setback from deception checks (and one from skulduggery and coercion). Could you add setback instead of difficulty to some of these? Two setback vs 1 difficulty are generally interchangeable.

You definitely think it's the Hutts Former Majordomo Zenith Kolmoeir a rather nasty looking Human, with half a cybernetic face. He hides it with flowing scarves and a cloak

(Okay good point I try to add blue dice in order to balance things. Any time you use a skill where you remove setbacks just add a blue dice.( That goes for all players too ) Oh you get a blue dice for your next roll)

The person in a metallic voice answers " The money is mine!, Get back .... it's only the Credits I want! "

We follow him in, weapons drawn. "Stick to the shadows. Be careful. It's the slug's pawn, Zenith. He probably knows this place better than anyone. We could be walking into a deathtrap."

You hear running footsteps ... The place seems well lit... in the reception area is a rather gory scene the centre of which is the Dead Slugs rather eaten body.

Seeing no sign of the majordomo, Worra pulls out his datapad and snaps a few shots of the horrific scene. "I'm sure the holo-net will love to see what happens to slavers, pirates, and petty crime lords. Justice comes to all, even if the Republic does not have the power to bring it. Its a pity that Gonothar never had to stand in court for his crimes, but now that this leech is dead there is again hope for democracy in this star system."

Durrak is constructing the barrier over the hole where the previous fight took place. He made a wall with spikes stick out pointing towards where the hole.

"You lot go ahead. I will make sure nothing more comes out of here. You guys sure like blowing stuff up."

He pulls out his discblade and starts the watch.

Aye see Zyi follow the others into the palace. He frantically bleeps to follow.

Come on then!

Aye ducks into the opening behind them.

You getting this?

Zyi asks Aye upon seeing the bloated half eaten Hutt. He whips out his holdout in one hand blaster in the other. He instructs the druid to record anything important, such as this scene that they might stumble upon.

You can record it now, But you have to transmit it later

It chimes in an affirmative tone
