Yorik introduces himself, "I am Yorik Vonn of Dantooine and these are my allies. We were sent to investigate this place. What can you tell us? and how quickly can we eliminate the evil that's on this rock and leave?"

"Guys, if we're going to fight these things I really don't want to fight them where they have the advantage. Let's at least make use of what sunlight we have so that we can pull some kind of fighting withdrawal. Or, now do we just hole up here for the evening with this group of people? You survivors... What are we up against? & What the FRELL is that voice that's in our heads?" Yorik asked urgently...

(Ooc: sorry can i have the setting/ scene again? I dont mean to be that person but i think with the speed of posting I've gotten turned around about where we are location wise. Once i have that i can start interacting again)

Under the ground you detect at least 20, in the hurt building there seems to be a large one

(The voice is on loudspeakers)

Okay currently you find yourself, in a building where several survivors are ... they seem rather ragged. Does that help??

[We're on a port on New Taris. Just down the road from Gonothar the Hutt's slave pits where he would set his slaves (maybe these people we're talking to right now?) against some rakghouls that he created. However, the rakghouls or something worse than the rakghouls broke free, took over, and is currently slaughtering everything... and speaking to us via loudspeaker and appears to be watching us as well...

(Reminds me of 7 Little Superheroes from Spider-man a long time ago... or Jigsaw from Saw... Either way... SCARY... Anyway...)

We flew here and discovered the delirious Gand upon landing whom you saved and we stowed safely in the holding cell for his/our protection.

We're here to rescue these civilians in this settlement who are FREE as of NOW. and Eldrith, you, Shard, Cracax, Durrak, R'rowlka and Yorik are going to kill, blast, and blow up all the bad guys and all escape alive to make wild and hilarious tall tales about all of this by tomorrow!]

This is much better than mine.

(Gotcha thanks yes that is very helpful.)

Eldrith will look over the inhabitants looking for signs of infection. While he's doing that he's making small talk trying to distract the inhabitants a little and reassure then that we're here to help. He even starts telling them off the time he got out of that one really close call by the skin of his teeth with a humorous joke at end at his expense.

(Basically doing bed side manner type stuff and trying to charm them into being less scared stiff)

My name is Eldrith and were here to help. If you've anyone thats sick i can help.

The Civilians are very reassured by your presence. However you know the ship will never take all of them ... they also tell you there's several other settlements but they don't know the state of them.

Irina is a one eyed Twilek girl she would be attractive if it wasn't for the scars

( if you have underworld knowledge You have heard of " The Rose" a former gunslinger who once outshot a Squad of Dark troopers)

She informs you that they don't expect to survive the night.. there was triple the number yesterday.. Coms don't reach off world... and that nutball keeps killing or turning people.

Yorik is in love at first sight at "the Rose" but sticks to the Mission. These people need hope if they're going to make it and in fact we've now got an entire fighting company, Sar Agorn . Yorik used his Leadership to Inspire their group.

"I'd like to point out that you DID survive the night and now we only have to survive one more. People know you're here. WE were sent here to rescue you and more immediately wipe out these monsters as quickly as we're able!"

"I'm Cracax Rashi. I get called in when really bad things happen," he said, mostly in an attempt to lift spirits.

"12 holdouts and more settlements... not exactly ideal in terms of holding the line while Mr. Nutty Nutbar is still alive and functioning," he thought to himself as he looked over the survivors.

"We have an objective, hold the line for the night. You guys have been here longer, so what do we need to know about them?"

(I was getting more of a Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven/that one episode of Clone Wars based on either of those movies with a strong splash of Aliens personally, but those work too.)

(where is the big signature I thought the survivors were in the "Hurt"? Is there an obvious entrance to the underground? Are the underground signatures human sizes, or rakghoul sized)

Suggestions... If we stay the night do we have time to gather survivors from other communities? How long has this been happening? What have you been doing to survive so far?

Second should we gather forces now, we got since extra weapons, organize an assault now before the sun sets?

(totally seconding magnificent 7 / 7 samurai! Cybric the character you know, Yijz is based sorta a composite of characters in mag7)

(Haha loving the themes yeah definitly get a 7 samurai feel about it. Good to know lol yeah I'm hoping eldrith here will turn into a doc Holliday character which is kinda where some of the inspiration came from)

Moving towards Irena Eldrith reinforces the questions that his team had asked already asking how they had been fending for themselves over the past few nights. He'd also ask about any ghoul samples they may have as well as ask where the experiments were happening. The more information we have about this strain of ghoul the better we can fight it.

These people are barely holding it together. I mean i don't know her story but this Irena lady looks like she's seen her fair share a scraps but other than that who knows.

I can confirm i didn't spot anyone infected while i was looking them over though they're brutalized.

These are scared men and women not soldiers.

If they were running experiments they'd have data stored somewhere. If we can get it perhaps that intel will tell us what variant of ghoul we're dealing with and if we're extremely lucky we could cure this out break.

Yorik nodded in agreement with Eldrith's assessment. "Agreed. Well, the Hutt's palace is just a short jaunt down the path and as I said before, I'd prefer to have some daylight in the sky so if we have to fall back then we can somewhat safely where these rakghouls can't or won't come out into the open until the sun sets entirely. In my opinion, sooner is better. So, we can at least thin their numbers before any horde type onslaughts ensue."

"Also Eldrith, regarding Rakghouls, can you break down their strengths and weaknesses for me please? I've never fought these things before. What exactly are they? Humanoid obviously but human? Mindless? Do they burn? Is there a way that works best for killing them? Do we gas them? Just brainstorming here... We have blasters, grenades, and rockets. But, most importantly we need a plan and the will to stick to it."

"Irina, you're welcome to join us and if you need one I have a sidearm you can use. HL-27 Corellian Blaster. Extremely accurate and if you're as good as your reputation then I'm sure you'll do us proud. Also, you know the layout of the place we want to get into so I'm hoping you'll volunteer before we have to ask you to show us the way. For that matter, what the FRELL are we fighting that's controlling all these Frelling rakghouls?"

Yorik thought in his mind as well. Sar Agorn, are you still with me? Can you sense who or what this malevolent force that may be controlling the rakghouls? How did it even know of your presence on board our ship? What could be that powerful? More importantly, how do protect ourselves against it?

(The Hurt is supposed to be Hutt palace.. that's auto correct for you.)

(Humans and ghouls have the same sized signature)

(Lastly the Big Signature looks like a very large Ghoul creature.... maybe an alpha? )

Irena doesn't want to leave what limited safety they have... however they have blocked access to the tunnels with some kind of improvised mine

They use spike traps.. but they can tunnel through almost anything.

She pats a very heavy slug thrower revolver... when you offer her a gun.." They burn," she notes " and they hate fire... if we had some booze we could make some Rylak cocktails "

She says that if she were to go with you..." these people would probably be overwhelmed... if we had access to a com terminal we could call the planetary Sheriffs who could send a few deputies to help."

she is unaware of what is happening elsewhere on New Taris

" she says about a week ago, a ship arrived.. The Hurts "beasts" turned on him and infected most of the village. Nobody saw who was on it.. afterwards the' Voice ' started taunting them, then the ship left. "

' He says he doesn't have access to all the information he used too, he would need access to the Library on Dantoine... or Tython .. The voice does feel familiar... he warns you to be careful... he Suspects that whoever or whatever the creature is, it is extremely Dangerous...

He adds that he can gift you the ability to later the temperature of ambient moisture, which can freeze objects or the Ghouls, but only while he's riding shotgun... he's willing to teach you it but... You don't have time for it now ... plus he would like to know you understand the riddles he provides... thus can be trusted with such knowledge.

and he isn't reading your thoughts, his voice is like a whisper..

he has a suspicion on who it might be but requires the Library to confirm '

Irina shows you the tunnels and agrees to take you past the traps but no further.. her place is here with the people.

How many come each night?

What about bonfires?

Irina, do you know anything about the Hutt's place? Layout? Where do these tunnels lead to?

Are there any computer terminals here in the village, what's the closest?

" It depends, sometimes 1 sometimes 20... The tunnels lead all over they were Former levels of Taris upper city that fell into the planet, The huts palace has a large chamber, a back room and several guest rooms, it has a large pit area underneath, and a viewing gallery... shes unaware of the condition of the place now "

( im going to draw a plan stand by okay?.. I think it will be easier if i draw the locations so you have a better idea of how things are layed out. )

Yorik looked back toward the ship and said,"The Gand is at least in a cell with Durrak and R'Rowlka guarding him so I feel pretty good about that one. Dammit, Cracax, you have a point. Let's go be heroes. Just don't be too heroic cuz heroes get killed..."

He sighed, looked up at the sky, and then began walking toward the path of limbs. "Let's go! We're burning daylight and we could've used that to help us fight the rakghouls!"

Yorik moved carefully while keeping his Confidence raise high with his finger just off the trigger. He was scanning and moving actively along the path and putting some distance between himself and the Golden Hind in order to get to the settlement quickly. "Shard or Durrak should be on point," he thought. "They're much more observant than I am. Still... Sharp eyes, sharper reflexes, stay alive!"

Durrak liked being with the Wookie. they are formable beings. The wookie could handle this by himself in fact. Durrak went off to join Yurik.

"No matter what we do or how we decide to do it, we're going to need as many supplies as we can gather. What places haven't been checked yet?"

Yorik asks, " more supplies? How about if we search on the way? We need to attack and we need to attack fast using daylight to our advantage. We can have these people search since they already know the facility while we Engage The Enemy and make the most efficient use of our time and resources. That way we can also soften up the monsters just in case they do attack and make them think twice about a direct frontal assault.

Yorik continued, "The monsters will be drawn to us rather than to the villagers. All the noise in action should also serve to distract whoever is in charge so their focus is on us. Meanwhile if we need to use the tunnels to sneak around we can do that but these people can get resupplied much faster and more readily than we can and they can do it without engaging the enemy since they're already scared.
