Yorik looks around at his companions and says, "In fact, if everyone is willing, I'd like us to do a complete rundown of where we can best help each other succeed. Being from Dantooine, I did what everyone of us tries to do as soon as we're able and that's get out and explore the galaxy. I can fly, I can shoot, and I can fight. So, the best way to get out and explore the galaxy has been to join up with different outfits and provide security for whichever corporation or colonist needed me. Being a merc has been good for that but I'm still learning and everything is new to me. What is Taris like, for example? Are we good to just drop in and drop bombs or do we need to be stealthy and raise no suspicions before we move on our targets?"
Alchemical Problems IC RPG thread
" i am a explorer myself Yorik. A lot of this Galaxy is a mystery to me as well. I too would like to see some intel on this Taris."
Looks at the two of them and lets out a moderate breath, "I've lived on Nar Shaddaa for most of my life. I was taught to be a bounty hunter, so I can handle myself in a fight. Though one of the the first lessons was to not go in blind if you can help it. What is Taris like, what's already on the ground, and what realistically could be brought in against us?"
yeah hes remaining quiet on those questions... he just blinks and you " what? Get Gowin'! "
The robot turns and looks like it tries to answer but the restraining bolt glows and it says nothing
oh @LightningFox you get a blue dice on your next roll
( im making my rolls on the hangout, so there visible there .. )
Edited by AprilYorik sighs and stands up. He then stows his gear in one of the other cabins not yet taken and then heads to the Pilot's seat to power up the Golden Hind. He speaks loudly for someone to hear and respond. "Some Astrogation coordinates would be wonderful to have by the time we break atmosphere. Anyone want to help or should I just trust the glitching droid to take care of this?"
He looks around the console controls for a Navicomputer of some kind while he pilots the ship up and out of the Space Port.
"Buckle up and Buck Up, kiddos! And get your Game Faces on because it's Go Time! Up, Up, and Away we go!"
" the Co.. Co ordinates have already been set... Auto Pilot is... is active " the droid splutters
the holo dissipates
( is anybody going into the rooms to check them out? )
Cracax downs his drink and stands up, "Someone might need to check the droid before it self-destructs." Begins walking around the ship, half at random to become familiar with his surroundings to help ease the paranoia that he's flying into a trap of some sort.
Yes, let's go EXPLORING! Yorik happily moved to explore the Golden Hind after making sure the Autopilot was activated. It was a joy to not have to share quarters with 5 other squadmates or, even worse, bunk in shifts and share someone else's stink after they'd been on patrol. This yacht truly was pure luxury so far.
"Until the job goes haywire," he thought, "and they always do, I'm going to enjoy every moment of this!" He moved with a purpose to find 4 things first. The bed, the head (Bathroom), the bread (the Galley or ship's kitchen), and the Dead (the Ship's Guns & Weapons Systems). Then, once their general locations were confirmed he went to explore in more detail. Also, to determine where the cameras and recording devices might be located in case he needed to steer clear of them at a later point...
Then to the Cargo Hold down below and also to check where the smuggler's holds might be found in case they needed to make use of them some day and in some way...

Most of the Rooms have on Suits... but you notice that on the 3rd deck It is split into 5 rooms, 2 either side and a set of double doors that are sealed.
The galley is on the top deck ( or 1 st deck) where it follows onto a reception room ( where you were ) which on turn leads to the cockpit. Oddly here is an off room which looks almost as luxurious as those on the second.
The second deck seems to host smaller rooms (8)which are possibly for staff. With a small bathroom, And kitchenette.
The fourth deck looks like a smaller version of a huts palace, with Dias, and various booths
The cargo deck hosts a cage, a cell, and a few cargo pods, as well as two basic speeders.. but oddly no type of hidden compartments. At least nine that seem obvious. There's also a droid recharge port and a small work bench. There is a ramp that lowers.
In the fancier rooms there seems to be data slabs and small holo terminals.
( If you want to look for compartments could I get a search roll with hard difficulty (3 purples)
If anybody investigates the large double doors could I get a security roll and your force rating in force dice ( if you have one)? or if you can describe how your looking ill hand wave the rolls )
Yorik got two successes. Posted on the Hangouts.
From top to bottom in every room, as well as every hallway, tapping with a small wrench along the walls and floors, Yorik searched and listened for the tell take signs of the hollow ringing echoes and off key sounds that would betray a smuggler's hold or cache.
Edited by Cartergame(For hidden cargo spaces or the double doors ? )
Hidden cargo spaces first....
For the double doors of the private suite 1 success... but, uh, 5 disadvantages....
Just saw the other question- Yorik has a Force Rating of 1
Edited by CartergameYou notice that there are several hidden compartments... hidden in the smaller quarters floors. Some are full with empty drinks cartons, newspapers and bobble heads.. Seems that someone had a hoarding problem.
The doors click open but you notice that are several hidden gun ports that light up. Waiting for something..
Ok, it is at this point that I'll call in Zyi or someone else more skilled at investigation or technical possibilities than me to investigate. But, I will look around the room with my helmet sensors in addition to turning on the lights to get a clear view without actually entering the room.
Edited by CartergameIt looks like it's some sort of meditation chamber... puzzling... just then the Ships Communicator starts beeping.... "Beep boop "
A Meditation room? I would not have expected that from someone who seems to clearly be more associated with the Underworld than the Spiritual world but perhaps there's room enough there to spar and work out during our down time.
OK, I'll head back to the bridge back to check out what's coming through on the Comms.
Edited by CartergameAh Cracax, didn't pin you as a resident of the smuggler's moon. What ward? Ain't seeing slumdog...
You a topsider? Tower dweller? Or maybe you even a skysee-er?
Aye is still floating around Zyi's head.
He buddy, why don't you go explore, have fun. I'll see if this bucket gotsa oil bath later if your good...
He looks back at Cracax.
Sorry bout that, he's a little clingy. Go on...
Edited by TheShard(I rolled for deception to see if that guy is lying before reading on. If it doesn't change anything just let me know but that seems like a pretty good roll to me in addition I'm not sure what is search roll is as it isn't a skill. Does that mean that you want us to pick a skill we think would be relevant to searching and roll for that? Or does that just mean make a perception skill check?)
deception roll : 2eP+1eA+2eD 3 successes, 1 threat

"Former resident, I'm happy to say. As to where, lower Corellian Sector," he said looking at Zyi, "and little desire to go back. So how did you end up there? Business, homeworld... involuntary?"
A wry smile crosses his face.
A little bit of all 3 perhaps. If your from their you gotta know the "Barn"?
While chatting about the smuggler's moon he motions for the ship's droid to come over.
Cracax spent a few moments thinking, trying to come up with what he was talking about.
"The bar or is that yet another nickname for what the Duros sector has turned into?" he asked, hoping more for the former.
Durrak takes a look around. (Not vey well.)

Man! The Barn man! Spacebarn! It's just the best garage that side of the galaxy! Nix's place... Anyways...
Hmmf! Whose this guy?
His attention wanders and he eventually gets off the couch and starts looking around. Joined shortly by Aye. He finds Eldritch and Yorik exploring the yacht's rooms.
(Can I roll perception for both me and Aye separately or get a bonus for his help?)
Yorik looks to Eldrith and comments, "There seems to be more to this Gartho and Mr. Zando than meets the eye. The Ithorian we just spoke to on the Holonet seemed to have ties to the Underworld and I would expect a Hutt to be obviously a large part of that. However, this Meditation room was unexpected and there seemed to be something else that I couldn't quite put my finger on as of yet... But, it gave me a certain feeling that made my Danger Sense tingle a bit.
"Also, I'd always thought it just a myth but our employers seem to be very familiar with Inquisitors and their role in the Empire. It makes me wonder... with their knowledge of what they call the "Dark Side" and their desire for such artifacts, do you suppose they're trying to obtain them to destroy them or to use them for their own ends? As I look around I'm not doubting that this is a great opportunity for us to earn some good credits, I just like to be prepared in advance for any scenario. Including one that may involve some metaphysical out-of-the-ordinary tactical situations..."
