That's fine mate, but if you don't want me to lecture you on how it doesn't matter, how about you not lecture the rest of us who are just trying to enjoy the show? Bearing in mind we don't really have enough footage to judge whether it really is 1/4 size or not...

There's a difference between discussing a topic, which I was doing, (acknowledging the counter argument and providing pictures and other things to reinforce mine), and telling someone to drop a topic.

Not to mention I stopped commenting 6 days ago until someone quoted me.

Fair cop, I apologise, I wasn't meaning to close you down, but appreciate that's how it came across.

To explain myself, I'm personally in it for the story, for the visual representation, for the show as a "work of art" (for want of a less pretentious word). I tend to give the creators the benefit of the doubt when it comes to what might be read as inaccuracies; I interpret them as deliberate, artistic choices, rather than simply a lack of attention to detail. Take the long necked ISDs and thin lightsabers - I see these as nods to McQuarrie's original art, and welcomed their inclusion as such. So for me, the MC80 didn't leap out at me as too small. I was too excited by the possibility of meeting Ackbar.

But you take something else from the show. That's fair.

It's all good :D

I'll admit I can be obsessive over some topics, but I enjoy being proved wrong, which I was hoping someone would do who knew more about producing cartoons/films as to why the MC80 was smaller than it should be when there is conflicting concept art that shows it being massive.
