If you were to design a card for the next wave...

Hired Gun: somewhere between 5 and 10 points

Bring one unique pilot from the Scum faction into your Rebel or Imperial list. The Scum ship may include Scum only upgrades.

Unfortunately I think Manaroo would be the biggest culprit of this, but it would be fun to include anyone else!

Edit: Maybe small based ship only?

I was immediately thinking

Dengar in the Falcon

Kanan, Finn, S/Loop and Expertise that's sound fun and deadly

B-Wing Title (not sure as to name yet)

title. B-Wing Only. 0 pts.

After preforming a 1 to 2 speed maneuver, assign a Reinforce Token to your ship.

thoughts? Too much? Too little? Tweaks?

Upon further consideration of Reinforce's strengths and discussing the idea with some friends, I'd change the title to either just provide the Reinforce action on the B-Wing's action bar for the same price, or keep the text and change the price to 2 or 3.

I know this isn't a reply, but can any of you highly intelligent people come up with a card that counters Mind-Link when in a certain range. I see that MacchuWa has an R6 Astromech that deals stress, but that doesn't really sit well with me, I don't know why. I think Actions and Focus are pilot abilities that should never really be tampered with. I know those get stripped by Old-T and Carrnor, but that seems more thematic as they're great pilots...a Droid? I'm not buying that. Anyway, some range mind altering weapon or array might be cool. It seems very Imperial to do such a thing. Wouldn't the Empire, knowing these mind shenanigans exist, come up with a terrible mind-intercepting weapon that could do such a thing? I don't know.....not enough tea yet to figure out that one yet. But MacchuWa is on to the right trail, get that Mind-Link stuff buffed somehow.

Carnor Jax. That's about it, sorry.

Anything designed to curb Mindlink shennanigans would just obliterate "normal" ships' Focus actions and tokens. Kind of like how Zuckuss crew and 4LOM crew on a Party Bus has a chance to shoot down token-staking Imp Aces, but then also allowed it to just obliterate average ships with average agility and tokens.

Works against X7, works against parattanni, bumps up the X and Y wing without allowing 4 of them for TLT lists.

must has!!!

I guess I'm not a great communicator; I'll accept that. I don't want a modification that takes away tokens or anything like Zuckuss; that's a terrible idea. Yes, Jax is enough. I'm talking about inhibiting the token sharing shenanigans when the ship is within a certain range; that's all. Let's never obliterate "normal" ships. Let's get them back in play!

I think the problem that you bump into with that idea is that "token sharing shenanigans" is too specific a focus for an upgrade. You end up with a card that is a great counter to something particular and is dead weight against everything else. This leads to a card that doesn't see any play unless the specific thing that it counters is popular.

You might be better off with something much more general. You may still run into squads where it doesn't do anything but the chances of that are much lower.

"At the start of the Activation phase, you may select an enemy ship at range 1. The selected ship is not considered friendly by any other ship for the rest of the round."

The wording may need some work and I have no idea what a fair price would be (need to keep to the low side since it is still fairly specific) but it prevents a large number of support abilities from affecting the targeted ship. The range may need to be tweaked up as well.

Call it "Remote Transponder Slicing" or something.
