[Spoilers] Size of the Fleet?

By Forresto, in Star Wars: Armada

Obviously spoilers for Rebels...

This week in Rebels was especially good to us Armada players on a show that usually deals more with the fighting X-Wing covers. We finally got to see the earliest proper rebel fleet.

So how large do you guys reckon the first Rebel Fleet would be in Armada terms? Ship wise I count this:

1x MC-80

1x Quasar (don't have in armada yet)

5x Nebulon B-Frigates

8x CR-90's

4x Hammerhead Corvettes (don't have in armada yet)

2x Rebel Transports (so one flotilla)

Not just the fleet, the whole rebellion.

I highly doubt it was the whole rebellion. They would never risk coalescing everything in one spot plus there are still missing ships such as the Profundity and Liberty and many other rebel ships and ship types we know of.

I mean I guess yes its the whole rebellion at this moment but its only a fraction of what they have at Endor.

It's a kids show. They have the tactical genius of a damp sponge, and survive by the luck of a 9 leaf clover.

Those ships haven't necessarily joined the fleet yet.

Actually, coalescing about a dozen ships together isn't particularly dangerous as long as they do it in a remote location. Empire Strikes Back has them basically gather the entire fleet together, which we know to be completely outmatched in sheer numbers, out at the galactic rim.

Space is big. The only thing you need to hide is a location where people won't be looking, not cover.

Plus the show is still a year or two out from A New Hope. Even if this is it for the Rebellion, there is still time to build the insurgency to the original trilogy levels.

I did some rough calculations and this rebel fleet could be around 600 to 700 points in Armada without upgrades.

Who wants to play? I'm down for a 1000 point fleet game where I can quadruple ISD, Dictor, Glad and bombers! (I literally have a list, played a game like that once, best moment of my life)
