Hey guys! I play Xwing but just very casual, but today I get a chance to compete in a tournament, I would like to run a scum list but not oppose to a rebel list since I have the most practice with those. What do you guys recommend as far as a list? I don't own any of the latest ships from the last wave yet, but pretty much anything else I have. What I'm looking for is a list that has a chance at competing even when I'm aware that I'll be making plenty of mistakes, I don't have dreams of winning but I want to at least be able to last 30 min fighting per match. I was leaning towards a bossk, ketsu build, but I'm not sure on a 2 ship build, I think 3 ships is more ideal but open to suggestions
Need fast help! Last minute list
Asajj w/ Latts and attani mindlink
Fenn w/ title, autothrusters, attani mindlink
Manaroo w/ attani mindlink
Edited by wfainIs this that so called "pattarani" list I keep hearing about? How do you fly it? Any particular tips on it? How does it work exactly? And why is it called that?! Lol
Set up facing to your right and sweep round the board with asajj in the lead. Keep manaroo back moving and doing a focus action. Generally evade with asajj, and pile it with focus, and don't forget to stress somebody - that way even 4 red dice can be laughed off. Use Fenn as a repositioning opportunist but he should never be the obvious target. Don't pull a red unless it's highly likely to lead to some serious killing. Never red with Manaroo.
That's how it beats me....every....time.

It is, and I'll admit to being a little disappointed that the first response to your request was just to parrot it...
In keeping with your original outline, how about this:
Ketsu Onyo (Lancer-class Pursuit Craft)
-'Shadow Caster'
-Fearlessness
-Dengar
-Engine Upgrade
49pts
Bossk (YV-666)
-Crack Shot
-Mangler Cannon
-K4 Security Droid
-4-LOM
-Zuckuss
-Inertial Dampeners
-Guidance Chips
-Homing Missile
51pts
Bossk is the embodiment of an alpha strike here - K4 should set you up for a Homing Missile, then tractor beams from Ketsu plus Guidance Chips, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, Bossk's ability and Crack Shot should ensure it lands and puts a horrific amount of damage on something right away. It does mean you have to be quite aggressive with him, and expect him to die shortly after the alpha strike.
Give it a try!
