Countdown is great but he does have a LOT of hard counters.

I've not tried it yet, but in theory at least, Targetting Computer is a strong upgrade for him. He has a lot less need for defensive actions and strikers have a huge need for offensive rerolls.

You friendly ships cannot use your target locks as their own for re rolling dice, so probably a Comm Relay will be more helpful to your current build.

Good catch guys.....I might not have the best card in this squad on Epsilon Ace. I think I was just trying to learn how new cards worked and, well, maybe I'm learning more right now, haha.

Countdown is the only striker that doesnt want LWF at all. Yes it technically offers you more odds at evading the attack all together, but the moment you bank on green dice to stay alive is the moment you die.

Hull upgrade or Mk2 to give him more destress options is better.

You say that you have to rely on green moves next round but also recommend hull upgrade which gives you no advantage to remove stress.

He literally said hull upgrade or Mk2, dude.

Hull makes you more durable by giving you a whole extra attack you can weather in ideal conditions. Mk2 makes you more nimble. Targetting computer makes you hit harder.
